My friends and I have used WildFlour on two different occasions now and the cakes have been delicious! They have accommodated to our dietary needs as well.
Lauren did an amazing job on our grooms cake. It looked great and tasted fantastic. The red velvet with cream cheese frosting was unbelievably yummy? She was easy to work with even from 4 hours way. Highly recommend!
Looks and tastes amazing. Love this small bakery! Everything I've had is very good. Great customer service every time I go in.
While staying in a local hotel we chose to try local foods. Friends had suggested the bakery. We had quick breakfast at the West Ashley site which appears to be the main bakery. This is primarily a bakery w counter service. The coffee was strong which went well with the food. Very much enjoyed the little quiche pie and croissant. No atmosphere at all. Flimsy paper plates and cups. A few tables and chairs. A nice chalkboard area for the youngsters is a good idea cuz the wait time for orders was quite long. Many people were picking up orders for Sunday activities.
Amazing baked goods. You MUST try the sticky buns, available only on Sunday. Everything looked so delicious that we bought 6 different treats and nibbled on them for a couple of days. Can't say enough good things about this place. Great pastries, and very reasonable prices. Thanks Wild Flour bakery!
I was able to pick up a few cupcakes & Oreo cheesecake for my husband's birthday. They were honestly the BEST cupcakes I think I've ever had. I LOVED the carrot cake cupcake. I could have liked the box.I was also able to grab some candles for him too (talk about waiting till the last minute). The lady working there was so helpful and kind. I certainly will be back for all my pastry needs! So glad I found this [email protected]
I love how family oriented the business is. I guarantee you'll notice when you go in. My girlfriend and I had pre breakfast here and picked up my birthday cake. Everything was amazing, but the cake was sent from heaven. It was carrot cake. The icing was rich, but not too overwhelming and the cake was thick with a wonderful taste with just enough hints of spice.
The lemon and key lime pies are the best I've ever eaten, and the menu is seasonal. The location is a little tricky to get out of in traffic (seen some people spend over 3 minutes to be able to turn out at high traffic times), but they have the absolute best prices and quality for pastries and bagels in my opinion. For example, you can get a large, toasted bagel with a large portion of high quality cream cheese for less money than the tiny grocery store bagels at 2 other nearby cafes I can think of.Any pastry with lemon, raspberry, or lime here has been amazing, they know how to balance the flavors of filling and buttery/sweet crust. First when I got a small key lime pie and ate it there, I ended up ordering another one and staying to eat it as well.
We ordered our wedding desserts through Wildflour, we got the espresso cheesecake, lemon berry tarts, apple pies, and chocolate mousse and all four were delicious! We received many compliments about each separate dessert and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Highly recommend!
High quality pastries. We loved the small key lime pie in a graham cracker crust. The casseroles and quiches can be taken home and heated up. The ones we bought were all excellent. The pecan pie and peach pie both looked very good. We will be back again and again.
