Had to argue with hostess to get an eight person setting even after I had reservations for a week for 8. Served water in styrofoam cups. 9 person party came in after us sat in same room and was served water in glasses. Not sure what that was about. Spent almost $400 (plus tip) for a so so meal. We go somewhere else in future.
Third time in a road my order was delivered wrong. First time, Doordash did not arrive. Second time food order was wrong and today, salad was not delivery. What is wrong with this restaurant? I can not even contact them over the phone to get my salad. Bad business between Doordash and Wasabi Daniel Island. Too many mistakes with food delivery. 2 times food was prepared wrong or missing food.
Friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service. We had sushi, sashimi, yakitori, gyoza, hibachi, beer, and cocktails. My hibachi shrimp were way overcooked and the filet mignon was medium-well instead of medium-rare, but everything else was superbly prepared to perfection. We had a great time.
Spectacularly awful with a flare for a non attentive waiter. Seriously, this place has been going down hill for years and tonight we hit rock bottom. If you want to wait on yourself and get charged for food that’s out of stock, it’s the place for you. Cross this dump hole off the list, we won’t be back. Overpriced food and under appreciated patrons.
Unfortunately when I sat on the patio the waitress brought out our water in styrofoam cups, then our soda waters in the same, by the time our meal for 4 was done we had 8 cups to go to waste and continue to pollute. I am disappointed wasabi has not come further to try and make an effort to help with our on going trash issue.
Just went here for dinner and our table ended up being given 8 styrofoam cups with plastic lids and plastic straws. I know not everyone is a huge love the planet person but for people who care for marine and land animals and future generations styrofoam is one of the 500+ years to decompose:/ Please try people
I paid $17 for one roll and it was disgusting, very small, and not what I thought it would be based on the description on the menu. Got the rainbow maki. Won’t be ordering again.

Stopped here for lunch. I had the lettuce wraps which were light and tasty! We each ordered 2 tempura shrimp as an appetizer and they were great! We ate outside since the weather was so nice!
Best Asian Fusion I’ve had in a while. We all enjoyed the hibachi duo. There was a sushi bar and a full bar too. Service was good and the atmosphere was delightful. Worth a trip.
