Stopped in cause of the positive reviews. Great space. Bartender was great. Able to recommend some good local beers. Food was affordable and good. Good vibe. Definitely recommend. Causal but upscale.
Food was good, and the drinks were okay. The atmosphere is what drew me in. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. There are a lot of bars and restaurants, this was has an inviting atmosphere with a diverse crowd. The view at the roof top bar at sunset is amazing. I hope you check it out.
One of Charleston’s hottest spots for food, music, and sports. Go see Kat and get a cold adult beverage and then grab a pizza, damn good food and people watching - Bleeker is my favorite so far
Went to the upstairs bar during the late afternoon one weekday. Bartender was very nice, but the mixed drink had little alcohol. Food was really good. If going I would recommend skipping the mixed drinks and just getting a slushi or beer/hard seltzer.
Very nice live music. Cocktails seem inexpensive, but turns out they are very small and extremely skimpy with the liquor at the rooftop bar. Would recommend skipping drinks here.
We stopped in for a rooftop lunch, food was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Since we were staying at the hotel across the street we went back in the evening for drinks at the downstairs bar, again the staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place!
My wife and I went there early in the afternoon to have a nice meal. No sooner than our food had came they started clearing chairs out and music came on so loud that we couldn’t hear each other talk we needed earplugs. It was impossible to get a waiter or waitress attention. We got up and paid our bill and walked out without eating. Decided to go next-door to a sushi place. Walked in and the music at uptown social was so loud that it was shaking their building and tables and you could not hear inside there either. So we did not eat there we went down the street a few more blocks. Horrible service and horrible noise pollution. I will never go back there and will advise anyone reading this to reconsider going to uptown social.
Might the best party atmosphere on King Street. There’s a big club dance floor and DJ downstairs. Upstairs has a second smaller dance floor and a patio - more like a house party. Despite the crowd, we never had to wait long for drinks. The bathroom lines get super long but otherwise, great spot for Friday and Saturday nights.

After sitting at the bar on a Tuesday at 4:45, they told us only the rooftop is open. So we went up the stairs and downloaded the beer menu. We went to the young woman bartender and asked for our beers. We were informed we can’t get any drafts beers on the rooftop. Bottles? No, only cans. So we found two cans we’d like. Can we have two glasses? No, we only have plastic. Fine. Two plastic cups for our canned beers. Do you take Apple Pay? No. Man, what a disappointing visit without any apology from the other side of the bar. We thought we couldn’t find a bad experience in Charleston-so many great places. I guess at Uptown Social they think they don’t have to try.
