the bahama mama smoothie! it’s AMAZING
I placed my order online to be ready at 5:30. When I arrived at 5:30, the cashier told me that they did not have any online orders. So I sat at the drive through for another 15 min while they were trying to "locate" my order. Another 10 mins went by and I was then told that "the drive thru was for drive through customers only and that I would need to go inside." One would think that since this is a new location, everything would run smoothly. However, each time I have placed an order, something is always missing. No one seems to know what is happening inside the restaurant. Also, when you go through the drive through, expect to wait at least a good 20 mins or so. I am highly disappointed with this particular store and would not recommend it. Sadly, we need more places around here to eat, but this will not be on my list anymore.Update: Just brought my order home. Looked inside the bag and of course they screwed it up again. I was suppose to get a wrap; instead I was given a salad.
The was the absolute slowest drive thru I’ve ever been in. Stay away at all costs. Absolutely ridiculous. >50min. With two cars in line.
Do NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I promise you will be disappointed!! After waiting about 20mins in the drive thru we finally got our food & drove off. After tasting both me and my husbands Smoothie we immediately realized something was wrong with them. ( they were disgusting) luckily we were down the street & turned back because we figured maybe they just forgot some ingredients. We went back inside and told them the issue and they made us some more smoothies. However the smoothie that I got still tasted the same. The only smoothie that i ever get is the ( Avacolada) I know how it’s supposed to taste & it was definitely missing something. After we told the employee that it still did not taste good she had a blank stare on her face and the other employee stepped in and asked what did it seem like it was missing? We told her that maybe it needed some more sugar? She said ok and the other employee began making me yet another Avacolada. While she was in the process of making the smoothie her co worker reminded her that she almost forgot the sugar. The employee goes to pour the sugar in the smoothie and just completely drowns it in sugar. Her coworker says to her that’s enough! Needless to say the smoothie was undrinkable!! We asked for upper management and they were not in. Do NOT GO to this location!!
Went to this location for the first time since we moved here, it was busy when we arrived however when ordering they took their time to suggest popular things to us and answered all the questions we had. Despite how busy, the employees pushed everything out swiftly. Would definitely return back to this location with their helpful staff.
Arrived at the drive thru at 6:18, had one person in front of me: I ordered a wrap and a sandwich. I didn’t leave with my food until 7:02. They hadn’t even started on my order when I pulled up to the window around 6:40. 22 minutes for two people to make a chicken wrap and grilled cheese?
Really was looking forward to the cranberry smoothie. Made our drive through order and sat for more than 15 minutes in line behind another customer in the drive through.Had to cancel order because it was over 25 min and my order wasn't ready.
Management needs to get their stuff together. Average weight time in the drive-thru 15 plus minutes. The staff works hard but it is drastically understaffed. You're losing business..
We are so excited that Tropical Smoothie is on Folly road! We have ordered a few times at this location and always have the best service and excellent food! We recently ordered and a third party delivery service didn’t deliver two of our smoothies. We called the restaurant and they were quick to remake our smoothies without any questions ask! We cannot wait to go again soon! Next time we will use their drive thru! Also the district manager reached out to us within 30 minutes of providing feedback! If that isn’t great service I don’t know what is!
They have good smoothies and easy cheap food. It seems they are always understaffed, but I don’t fault them for it. Always friendly and they give a card for a free smoothie for your long wait.
