This bar has sadly gone down hill. I have been here in previous months but this past week I have gone twice and both times have had a horrendous experience. The bouncers and bartenders were extremely rude and made some pretty inappropriate comments to myself and my friends (enough to make one of my friends cry being self conscious of her weight) while we were just simply waiting our turn. The DJs on both nights were definitely not the greatest. Seems they hired a intoxicated frat boy both times. The bar is not worth the trip away from the other good bars on King St. Would not recommend if you don’t want to be hit on or criticized as a women!
I don''t have enough great things to say about getting a VIP table at Trio. I was there with a bachelorette party and the staff was on top of everything like drinks, and ice, and checking in on us. We never had to ask for anything. The DJ was stellar that night as well. It's also awesome pricing for the experience! We truly felt like VIPs the whole night!
I was here for a weekend getaway and it was the best experience. Best nightclub in Charleston and it’s not even close. The staff was super nice and I even got to meet the owner Eric who is the nicest person ever. I’d go back every weekend if I could!!
I came to Trio as I was in Charleston for my bachelorette party. We walked in and I was mind blown. The club is so Sophisticated and classy looking. We were asked if we wanted a bottle of Champagne free of charge I’m assuming due to my getting married . We were sat in VIP and brought the bottle along with a whole little light show. It was the best experience. Everyone was so nice including the bouncers and all the girls that work there. We will definitely be visiting again and going to Trio !
Between the lasers, the djs and yes like others have mentioned below there is indeed a gorgeous female bouncer they have watching the crowd, I won’t go anywhere else haha!
One of the best night clubs I have experienced. The music is great. Bryce has a food truck out back that has some exquisite food. The lighting inside is awesome. I would definitely recommend this night club for locals and travelers.
Trio: This place is the best dance club and seems to be the only real dance club in Charleston. They allow vape inside which is a huge plus, but also have a patio if you want to smoke outside and still enjoy being there. There is a female bouncer there who I think is the most gorgeous but terrifying bouncer I've ever seen. I swear we went back again just to get her to smile at us and break her RBF. Best experience ever at this club. We had a blast in every section of it. We are planning another trip to Charleston just to go here!
Don’t go anywhere else. Just go here. The staff is amazing, the lights even better, and the djs are the best. Trio for the fact it has 3 different areas. Upstairs, downstairs and patio. There is a place for everyone here younger and older. Just go

Solid drinks, dope Dj’s, and even better light show. It seems to not get “litty” until after 10:30/10:45 but soon as it’s lit, wheewww it’s LIT
