Top Notch Hotel in the best location! Only 2000 ft from Centre of town! From the moment we arrived the staff made it so easy to get checked in and parked our car with care! Valet parking gives in out privileges! Staff made us feel so special. We loved the daily wine and cheese as well as the evening cookies! The room was fully equipped and we loved our large terrace! Stayed in room 235! The bed and pillows were so comfortable! The hotel also has a beautiful garden and library area! We felt very spoiled during our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when we return!

Good latter with great outdoor seating!

Pros: bikes, daily breakfast, location, pool, gym, restaurant. Cons: complimentary breakfast is a great perk, but what we actually received every day was pretty lame; it wouldn’t cost them much to bump it up a notch and it would really add a lot to the whole experience. Furnishings were pretty banged up. Room was very dark, even in the middle of the afternoon. Pool needs some umbrellas as it was too hot to do it up there for more than a few minutes.

Just prefect....amazing customer service! Great accommodations! Breakfast basket was amazing every morning! AND the jeep rides and pickups are the icing on the cake! This is a very personal experience for your stay in Charleston.

Wonderful coffee.

This was our first time visiting Charleston. We loved the city and all of our adventures. Even more than the city we loved The Restoration Hotel. The room was the perfect size for our family of 3, all adults. We reserved a 1 bedroom suite with 1 1/2 bathrooms and a little Kitchenette. The hotel was in the heart of Charleston, easy to walk anywhere and yet very quite. When we arrived there was a bottle of Bubbly waiting for us, which was perfect after flying in cross country. Bottom line when we return to Charleston we will be staying at the Charleston again. Thank you, Olivia

I read prior wonderful reviews of the Restoration, and it lived up to its reviews. The hotel truly helped restore us after multiple cancelled flights and a complete last-minute switch from spring break in FL to Charleston! The hotel itself is beautiful, and staff were great. Our room was huge, perfect for our family of 4. Location is fantastic where we could walk to almost everything which is our goal on most every vacation. We loved our stay at the Restoration, hope to visit longer next time, and can't wait to try the Restoration opening soon in Asheville.

We liked the hotel a lot. And the room with its separate living area was perfect for our family. Only big issue is that there was a family in the room next door that had kids screaming morning, noon and night. Very loudly. For our entire stay of 4 nights. . Called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. It was so bad we considered moving hotels, but the Restoration wouldn't tell us how long the family would be there, wouldn't move us to another room (without having to pay more than double). The hotel had no solution at all. Not even earplugs, even though we asked. We ended up staying, but the noise had a negative impact on our impressions of the hotel. Without better soundproofing or solutions when noisy guests are in the house, not sure we'd stay again.

We loved the location, room, rooftop bar and restaurant, and the extra touches such as complimentary snacks and drinks in the refrigerator. They also delivered a bag of breakfast items each morning. Our rooms was attractive, clean, and quiet. We walked all over downtown Charleston and only used our car once in order to drive to Sullivan's Island to go to the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in downtown Charleston.

The beds and comforter need improving. They fall apart. And you need to offer daily housekeeping. That was not available to me. And we were told we coudn't eat in the restaurant because they needed to bus the tables.
