Mahi was grilled perfectly as was the zucchini and yellow squash! Butter beans were delicious! I will definitely return to this restaurant! Don't let the location and exterior fool you! I will be back on Saturday night for the scallops!!! Thanks for a quality, delicious, healthy meal!!!

Food and service is great. Many regulars eat here frequently.

An awesome little place. Friendly and attentive staff. The mason jar was always filled. Lots of sauce choices. The crab cakes were some best with perfectly seasoned remoulade sauce. And we are from south Louisiana. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly done. We highly recommend you try this gem of a restaurant. And look at the cute salt and pepper shakers at the checkout.

Great food and Outstanding service. Tasha and the crew will treat you right ?

Great food and service! Not to mention the hummingbird cake was delicious ?

Delicious local favorite. Mom+Pop style restaurant with excellent southern style food that brings me back to my childhood.Great staff. Great homemade ice cream!

My wife and I were so happy we found this place on our way to Magnolia Plantation. And it wasn't easy to find...our GPS couldn't even pinpoint it! (It's somewhat hidden off the road in a plaza.) Anyway, it's a local "down home" diner with lots of excellent, homemade options and a friendly, welcoming staff. We both got the pulled pork sandwich and finished off with a slice of the coconut cake. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

When I walked into the restaurant, two ladies greeted me. Later I learned ine was the owner. As I was waited for a friend, I ordered the fried pickles. I was surprised, that it was pickles spears. There was grease to the bottom of the basket however it was tasty. I did not care for the sauce. I ordered the Crab cakes with 2 sides. I had butter beans and collard green along with 2 hushpuppies. I enjoyed the butter bean and Crab cakes. My friend ordered the grill Mahi Mahi with 2 sides. The fish was dry. She did not enjoy the salad and collard greens. She loved the unsweetened and sweeten tea. When informing the waitress of the concerns. She directed us the owner. The owner removed the Mahi Mahi from the ticket. I felt bad because I was paying for the meal this time. We are undecided, if we will try again and try something different. The service was good. The food is average.

Showed up for lunch, they were obviously busy. No greeting, though, and no hostess stand. I waited patiently. A waitress eventually shouted across the restaurant at me that no tables were available. No wait time, no offer to chill outside and look at a menu. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, so I left. No reason to treat customers like that. Plenty of other places to eat in this town.

It is the best! I am a southern woman born and raised in Charleston! It is locally owned too!
