We enjoyed fantastic food for both meat and fish and service from great man!
We loved this restaurant prior to the pandemic and we were thrilled when it reopened. However our experience this night was not as great as it usually was. Before I even asked, our waiter told us the food selection combinations were not changeable. In other words no substitutions. That was not the case before. However in their defense I did not put in a special request on open table for gluten-free selections. Our waiter was excellent and I cannot blame him. One of our group was disappointed in her entree and he immediately took it off of her bill which was very kind. The menu was limited on salads. My entree was very good even though I should not have eaten some parts of it. ***An update to my earlier reviewâ¦the restaurant manager called me personally and sincerely wanted to know how to make things right. He said they do accommodate food changes and was so very sorry I was misinformed. He appreciated my input and invited us to come back again. We will definitely do so.
The food was amazing! The server was very knowledgeable and the supporting servers were just as amazing as our server. Recommend highly!
Our waiter was very good with great understanding of the wine list and other offerings not on the menu. We had grouper, pork chops and swordfish with a great 2017 german Riesling from Mosel, DE. All was well prepared and presented and tasted very good.
Service and food were amazing.
Daniel was our server and did a great job. Great appetizer and wine suggestion (crab gnocchi, white). And the chocolate bread pudding for dessert was amazing. Awesome time.
Selected this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary based largely on Opentable reviews. We left our delicious dinner overwhelmingly pleased with The Establishment. The understated sign outside the restaurant gives one the feeling you're entering a secret, private club. The maitre d's station is set back from the front door, further influencing you're entering a private club. The restaurant floor is much larger than the front entrance would infer, much darker toward the back near the generous bar area. Food and cocktails were delicious. Plenty of professional, highly attentive waitstaff were seen cooperating as a team - backing up one another ensuring food and drinks were served, and tables cleared, promptly. Very well-training. Thanks, Shane, for the thoughtful complementary flute of champagne to welcome us to The Establishment (get it?)
Wonderful food and even better service! Canât wait to go back.
4 stars. Highlights: Excellent Himachi app, Gnocchi app, Grouper entree sous vide style Concerns: Swordfish over salted, Dinner rolls good but have to pay for bread, Pricey for pandemic portion sizes, Limited Champagne options (none by the glass â real champagne that is), limited options for kids Overall we likely would return and try some other entrees.
We missed the piano player, the live music really makes the experience outstanding
