The team at Tempest as always took phenomenal care of us. Gabe our server was terrific and very knowledgeable on the menu. The dishes the kitchen prepared were incredible. My date does not particular care for tuna but loved both the tuna bombs and the tuna entree I had big Kudos to the kitchen did that! The goat cheese, cheesecake was terrific for dessert as well. Overall a fantastic experience!
The food and friendliness of staff was really great. We had a party of 6, and all thought the food was above and beyond. Cool end of dinner ritual. But...speed of service was painfully slow. And it's a small place so not sure why?

Tempest is my favorite restaurant in Charleston. The seafood is always the freshest that you can get and it always has a twist on typical Charlestonian plates. Service is impeccable and the restaurant vibe is great.
Food and service was great. Shrimp cocktail was shockingly good. We sat on the sidewalk which was not ideal. We ate a late dinner and were starving, so it made waiting for another table not a good option. Donât sit on the sidewalk, but go and eat and enjoy the service and the great atmosphere.

Beautiful restaurant in the historic Charleston. Nice decor. Great waitstaff. Delicious food from the small plates, main dish, dessert, to drinks. We had a nice celebration with family here. What a memorable evening. Thank you!
