We had lunch here right after church since it was a walking distance from Seacoast Church and it didn’t disappoint us at all!The street tacos, beef fajitas, and their tamales were the bomb! The homemade salsa sauces and green salsa sauce were amazing. The food were fresh and made to order. They food really remind me on mexican food we ate during our trip in Mexico years ago. I recommend this little gem of Mexican food in West Ashley.

This place deserves a higher rating. Everything tasted so fresh. They have a really good sauce menu that was full of different flavors. The taste was authentic and balanced out with the consistent spiciness. Their flower tortillas seem to be a 100 % homemade. If you want something that is intertwined with flavor and a good spiciness, I'd suggest this to be the spot.

The food was good, the service was good. Not 5 star as for fine dining but 5 star for good food at a reasonable price

The Taco Kitchen is a decent taco spot. I made a mistake that I want to share with everyone. So you can make better decisions than myself. While scanning the menu I gravitated to the lunch tacos thinking these were street sized tacos. The lunch tacos are $4-$6.50 each. I had 1 Guizada taco, 3 asada tacos and Chips with Cheese and the salsa bar. When my tacos arrived I noticed immediately that they were very large. I don’t have a exact measurement, but they seemed to be on a 7-8 inch, made from scratch, corn tortillas. My Guizada Taco is a stewed beef in a taco. The asada taco is sliced flank steak with cilantro and no onions. The asada taco was missing some seasoning. The chips and queso was good. The chips are made or fried fresh. The salsa bar had many flavors to choose from but the stand out is the Peanut Salsa, it was surprisingly really good.If you want street tacos, they do offer them in a plate of 4 that come as steak, fish or brisket and is $11.50. I should have taken more time with the menu.I’m giving them 3 stars because I had high expectations due to having better tacos from many different places in Charleston, North Charleston and Summerville areas. The Salsa bar is a nice touch.

Delicious salsa bar. The house made, soft flour tortillas are AMAZING. Very generous portions. Friendly staff, it's bottle drinks only no refills so just keep that in mind. They even had Mexican pastries. We want to go back to try the breakfast burritos. Guacamole tasted very fresh. It's not like the Americanized Mexican with free chips. If you want chips you have to purchase them which we didn't mind. $5.50 but comes with cheese dip, or guacamole.

Excellent hidden gem. Really high quality, authentic tacos. Amazing salsa bar that really let's you create wonderful meals, my favorite is to mix the pineapple/mango salsa with the chipotle, pairs great with the asada!

Stopped in tonight for the first time and got the Acapulco burrito Togo. This thing is literally the size of the entire box. It’s massive. The guy working out front was very friendly and helpful and did his best to point me in the direction he thought I should go. The burrito was good, but definitely two meals or one to split with someone. They had a really awesome salsa bar with different levels of heat. The 3 I tried were all very good. I’ll definitely be back by to try some tacos soon. Stop in and give them a shot.

Small place, but there's the ability to see food being prepared. They have quite a few salsa's to choose from on salsa bar too. The food was good and we would order from there again.

Love the salsa bar! This place is wonderful. Closest thing to a West Coast taco shop I've been to in Charleston. Definitely plan to visit more. ?
