One of the best liege waffles I had!very classic and authentic liege waffles but the crisp and the inside were just on point??.I went with the plain and powdered sugar and the sweetness was balanced and just as perfect!
Audrey was delightful and the waffles here are exceptional. Multiple flavors and lots of customization to make sure you get a unique and tasty treat, and coffee/shake options to compliment the menu. Highly recommended, and wishing you guys lots of luck!
Legit, Fantastic, Sweet BelgiumIf I had a nickel for every time we anxiously tried a supposed authentic Belgium Waffle in the US … well, we could holiday again in Belgium …Charleston has a legit authentic Belgium Waffle Place! Sergio and Audrey have an amazing (and straight from their hometown in Belgium) recipe.We found this Gem just walking around King Street the aroma lured us in and we chatted the first day with Sergio, and the waffles were beyond what we hoped for. Our waffles were so good we went back there for breakfast Saturday, the next morning and had more waffles. We also met Audrey. We had fun conversations with both and the food is simply amazing.By the way, you might ask is it really that good that you went two days in a row? We say yes, but what is amazing is we were visiting, but on both days we ran into a man and his young boys. They too came two days in a row but they live walking distance … yes the waffles are that good.If you know real Belgium waffles you don’t need me to say anything more. If you are thinking, “Really I’ve had Belgium Waffles and its not a big deal …” then you need to stop in for a sample because these are the real deal and you will be amazed.There are enough toppings to last you a month … enjoy ….

Absolutely fantastic and I’ve never had a waffle anything like these before. 100% authentic Belgium waffles made by Belgiums. This place is tiny but the food is amazing, the coffee is great and the service is on point. Give it a try you won’t be sorry.
The smell will draw you in to what you will discover are the the best waffles around. When me and my wife are in Charleston this is always the first place we go. Waffles and coffee are amazing, plus we met the owner our last visit and what a great guy who also speaks French as a bonus. Very happy to support this local business.
Love this spot! My wife and I went to Belgium years ago and have been searching for great liege Belgian waffles in the states ever since we got back. We visit Charleston once a year or so and stop here every morning when we are in town.
The food is amazing and the staff are very polite.
Charleston does not have many breakfast places. Near Marion Square, is a great waffle place. Not your ordinary Belgium waffles. These are authentic. More like a hot pastry than what you typically find. They offer lots of toppings, on top of a great waffle. The store is really small, but they can be packed to go, in nice packaging. Well worth trying if in the area.
This husband and wife owned place may be small but it has a lot of flavor. These treats are nothing less than amazing. I highly highly this place.
