One of the better Subways in Charleston in my opinion, if you're not in a hurry. Don't go in if you're in a big rush, as they are usually 2 employees max even at peak hours. It's fine if you've got no plans. There's been a couple of bad employees in the past (talking on their phone instead of taking orders, dropping utensils/baking sheets on the floor and using them again) but haven't seen them in weeks, had good experiences with the employees currently.I will say avoid the tea as the top of the container is always left open and some kind of fruit flies or something breed there and fly around it.
I can tell they're shorthanded, but they seemed to be trying the best they can. Takes a lot to be working a job like that and not snap at everyone and walk out.
Sandwich meal was really good, especially when you choose how you want it! Staff not super friendly, but understandable due to wages and some not so friendly customers.
I enjoyed it first time there short staffed,but all in all the two that were working had a good flow going and my wait was not long at all.
Sandwich was made just as I ordered. I'd give it more stars but the place was understaffed. I waited at the drive through for a few minutes with no response so I drove up to the window where I waited about 10 minutes more minutes before I was helped. The person working was very nice and had been attending to the several people ordering inside. It was a pretty long wait for just picking up an online order, but understandable given the present situation of everyone being short staffed.
2/11/2022Lunch rush was crazy. 6 people in front of me with only 2 employees working. Didnt have to wait super long and the 2 employees were very polite and efficient!
It would be nice if you could edit your store hours on Google to reflect the actual time your teenaged employees close shop, post your store hours on your door at your branch so people know what these hours are, and perhaps even hire someone over 20 years old so that somebody that knows whats going on can keep the kids in line.Im not asking much. Im literally just trying to get into the door of your business during what have previously been and still are the store hours of Subway branches all across the country.At some point I say its not the kids' fault, its the management/owners fault for not paying enough to motivate someone with real job skills to work there. I dont care if you only hire the top student from every graduating class in the state, they DONT have job experience, and it shows.But really, just be open when you say you are. Its not complicated.
Currently 9:39 and they're not open. Person standing inside playing in their phone. Ridiculous so much for my lunch for today and the funny part is I used to work for the lady Kimberly that owns this place and she freaked out after I closed 10 minutes early once ? I guess she doesn't care anymore from the rest of these reviews. Real funny.
my service was horrible they assumed i was broke because i'm a child and it stunk very bad and they literally let a lady with no mask who was basically peaches in the back 1/10 stars do not recommend
I'm bummed they got rid of my oven roasted chicken breast sandwich (I know, I know, NOT the best one), but I tried the Cali Turkey and it was great. I didn't care for the bacon (don't like bacon ON my sandwiches, cuts my mouth ?), but everything else was good.
