I’ve been going here for years and loved it, but it seems they are really going down hill lately. I went in before a concert to share a sandwich with my roommate. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were not good which was surprising. We got our food and the fries were bottom of the barrel. We were not offered plates and they knew we were sharing so we had to eat our food off of napkins. It made me not want to go back honestly. All I can say is step back up. I’ll give it another chance at some point I’m sure but if the service continues I definitely have many other choices.
We love this place, the food, the friendly staff too. It’s clean and we’ve always had fast service. The only thing I would strongly stress: they bill themselves as “the best sports bar…” yet when we went for the Final Four games (one Saturday night), we were advised that “the band starts at 8”.This does NOT meet my expectation of a sports bar!But STILL we do love it.
This food we waited for at least an hour and a half for. This order was wrong, the monte cristo must have raspberry sauce with it and there was NONE! We spent over 100.00 and all of our food was wrong! I don’t think we will be back again and we eat out very often.
We walked in on a Saturday evening around 630 and sat ourselves right away. The atmosphere was awesome. Artwork by a (probably) local artist was a topic of conversation. There was a guy playing acoustic guitar and that was nice for ambiance. Food was delicious and served in nice time. We had loaded fries, Smothered chicken, and chicken fajita salad. Our server was attentive, but not annoying. This place is close to home, so we will definitely be back!!
A true hidden gem. Our first time in. Monte Cristo and Chicken Philly were ordered. They were fantastic. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Already making plans to try their brunch soon.
Enjoyed a night at Stones Throw Tavern watching March Madness. Great atmosphere and the bartenders were awesome! I had Layne and Tara suggest some solid apps and they had one of my favorite beers on tap! check em out!
A very comfortable atmosphere with good music, food and spirits. A new hangout for us.
Fast and friendly service outside, very dog friendly, food was good and I loved the fries, crispy and flavorful.
When you order fish and chips coating 15.00, they didn't have cocktail sauce and charged me .50ct for tartar sauce. Really everywhere I go the give me extra of both no extra charge and for around $12.00. the chocolate dessert was awesome. The waitress was nice and efficient.
Had a great experience @ Stone throw. Jimmy greeted us immediately & recommended one of his best drinks & apps. We went with the margarita & chicken tenders. Absolutely amazing!
