Great experience! Will visit again for dinner next time. Brunch was great!

The food was good. The ambiance tries to have 1930's theme but the booth could have been cleaned better. We shared the beet and strawberry salad along with the corn bread. They were both very good. We had to ask for little plates to share the salad and they gave us tiny bread plates. The steaks were fine but not as good as expected for the price. The sides were fine but again, for the price nothing was outstanding. This place is really expensive and not worth it

Absolutely wonderful meal. Our favorite meal during our entire trip. Even took into consideration an allergy, and made sure everything was cooked appropriately. Filet was cooked a little more rare than expected for a medium, so if you really don’t prefer rare, go with a medium or medium well. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Jazz music was way too loud. No one could hear the person next to them when speaking to each other. Waiter took out drink order and never brought us our drinks - we had to remind him and then he said we never ordered drinks. The food was ok - not much variety. It seems three breakfast potatoes came with every meal - even the cheeseburger.

overall a good dining experience. Had to wait for the hostess for 10 minutes before we were seated. Roof top offered limited dining options (only 2 tables with umbrellas and not set up for ordering food. Very misleading if you wanted to dine on the roof for brunch.

The ambience was very nice. Love the white tablecloth. Thought it was pricey for the quality. Short rib shareable was the best item we ordered. Cornbread shareable was too dry and whipped butter should have been automatically served with it instead of having to ask for the butter. There was nothing special about the flavor. The two entrees (fish of the day and crab ?) had no outstanding flavor. No imagination to the preparation or flavor. Had eaten at Fox Swamp the night before and absolutely loved their food. Their drawback was no white tablecloths (when one pays this $$, expect a white tablecloth!) and had a hotel atmosphere.

The food was great! Our server was excellent! We celebrated an engagement and they made us feel special. We enjoyed drinks at the rooftop before our reservations and the view and sunset were spectacular!! We’ve been to Charleston many times and had never heard of Stars so we decided to check it out and we’re not disappointed! The mussels and short ribs were amazing and the cornbread is a must!!

This was such a strange experience. Started ok- server was friendly. Prices are high- we were willing to pay assuming it would be great food, service and experience. It was none of these. The server was lackluster at best... drinks took quite awhile. The food arrived after almost an hour- the steak was very underdone and we sent it back. The pasta had been under the warmer for awhile- parts were scalding, parts were cold. The pork chop was nearly raw in places. Two of the 5 meals were"good" not great for their price point. At finally- this place has an identity crisis. With entrees at $42 to $60 with sides not included, you expect excellent ambiance, service and food. This place has a rooftop bar with continuous line of people walking by your table going up....in ball caps, crappy gym shorts, whatever, with tons of bachorette parties. Just two very different vibes that dont go together. Don't do it. Just not at all worth the money.

Food & service were average. Expected more from the reviews but everything was mediocre. Food was lackluster and service was ok. Don’t think I would try again, I think they are geared more towards the rooftop younger crowd,

Fantastic Crawfish Étouffée and French Toast along with frozen mimosas and live Jazz❤️
