Unique in the fact that they focus on dessert and drinks. We stopped here after dinner and was surprised at the amazing selection of traditional and unique items. If you can get a seat outside its a great place for people watching.
24 hour trip in beautiful Charleston and this place was a godsend! I couldn’t find English Breakfast tea until we were almost leaving and stumbled upon Carmella’s. To go with my cuppa I chose the almond raspberry pie. OMG...! I got another one to take home!
Don’t miss this for dessert! So good! We had the campfire which was awesome and easily shared! Fun busy place ... coffee is good as well.
I can't say enough on how much we enjoyed this place! Amazing atmosphere and great service. The drinks were wonderful. Visited two nights in a row. Be prepared to wait in line, but it is sooo worth it!
Great chocolate peanut butter cake. We ordered ours to go. The atmosphere is a clever youthful dessert bar with a very vibrant following. Stop in for great dessert or stay for some drinks.
Camellas firstly has great coffee.and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The food we ate there was overpriced but expected in a tourist town. The customer service was good for as busy as they were.
The drinks and food were great. The desserts were the bomb. We sat at the bar and met four or five people while we hung out with the bartender who happened to be the great nephew of the founder. Perfect eve! Open till 2 AM.
A really good spot for dessert. The only downfall is the very very slow service. One barista on a busy Saturday night?
Oh. My. Goodness! We visited this place twice while in town, and it’s a no brainer why there’s constantly a line out the door. We stopped in for a little lunch the first day, and split the Turkey sandwich so we could enjoy some dessert. The sandwich was very good, and I really enjoyed the fig jam. There were soooo many delicious looking dessert options, but when I see something s’mores, my fate is sealed. We split the S’mores Cheesecake and it was unbelievably good. My sister in law claims that the marshmallows are the best she’s ever had. Our second visit in was midday the next day, when the sun had gotten a little warm, so I opted for a frosé. I chose the one with strawberry and lemon. sorbetto with rosé, and it was just what I needed. Great consistency, not too sweet, it did turn my mouth red but that’s the price you pay sometimes ? Whether you’re in the mood for lunch, cocktails, frosé, or dessert...this place will take care of you!
Fun desert shop. Eat in or take out. The deserts are fresh and absolutely wonderful. I had the carrot cake, the best I have ever had.
