Santi's is our go to place when we want good authentic Mexican food. The city built a few high-rise buildings basically on top of this little place. It has endured since the food is so good.
Just happened to be here for cinco de mayo What a great atmosphere and drinks. The chips are awesome with the homemade salsa. Was a great place for food and drinks.
Great authentic fun atmosphere! Food was fresh, hot and delicious! This looks to be a local hotspot for great Mexican food. Casual environment…come as you are. The space is on the smaller side, so get there early or expect a short wait. The service was ok, a little slow, but the food and atmosphere made up for it. If you are a guacamole connoisseur, as I am, it was not as good as I’ve had elsewhere, but still good. Our table ordered burritos…they are not covered in red sauce or cheese sauce and are slightly toasted...YUMMY! Note: carbonated beverages are served by the can vs a fountain drink. Great for lunch, drinks and appetizers, or afternoon munchies after a long day by the beach/pool.
Sitting here for 30 minutes and still haven't been given the chance to order food yet. The beer is nice and cold. The chips are pretty good. The salsa is very watery but flavorful. Maybe soon someone will take our order.Edit: we are now past the one hour mark. Food was ordered around 20 minutes ago (a few tacos), but still nothing. We are getting tired and hungry. I hope this saga ends soon.Edit 2: finally got our meal 75 minutes after arriving. Not worth the wait. The Modelo was the best part of the meal; at least it was cheap.
Travellers, this is a cute and delicious Mexican restaurant just north of downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The food was very good, tasty and flavorful. The sides were also delicious. The beans were homemade. The service was swift and with a smile. The ambiance is fun and energetic and matched the good food. Check it out. We recommend.TLDR - solid and tasty Mexican
The food was fine and the staff was nice. Unfortunately you will get towed of you decide to uber back home and leave your car in the parking lot. I find it disappointing that they would get a customer's vehicle towed. It's not like they have a small parking lot... I will not be going back to this place.
I have been coming to Santi's for years. I love it here. Great atmosphere (décor is eccentric) servers are awesome (shout out to Pablo!), and the chips and margaritas are, quite honestly, the best I've had. I love the food here.P.s. Seriously, the chips here are amazing!
One of the best spots for Mexican in the area. Great prices, and the decor is great. Outdoor patio features natural light and lots of plants.
Great Mexican place with lots of flavor and atmosphere. This is definitely a local place, but after eating the same for a couple days it was nice to try something different. It didn’t disappoint.
Great tasting, authentic food. Their Sopa Azteca (bean soup with cheese, guacamole and tons of other yummy stuff) is outstanding!! The servers are all so nice too!
