Absolutely amazing eggs Benedict, Irish coffee and bloody Mary's were off the chain...mimosa flight were the perfect cherry on top! Highly recommend, since my usual go to before I leave charleston is Toast all day, but this is my second favorite spot all day!

5 out of 5. No need to go to a super fancy brunch in Charleston (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Laid-back vibe, great food & cocktails and solid staff.

I love breakfast but this place wasn't great. The biscuits were a bit stale. The sausage gravy was delicious as was the honey butter. Both helped the biscuits a lot. The Spanish omelette ate greasy and needed some sort of veggies. The fried chicken sandwich was cooked really well and was moist. Banana and pecan pancakes were amazing! The service was great (especially Paige!) The shrimp and grits were the worst part of the meal. The gravy was watery and tasted like it came out of a can. Honestly the whole meal felt like it lacked love. With so many other options in the area, I don't know how this place stays open without improving their food.I'll give them one more try but won't be in a hurry to come.

Good food unique and convenient

Super tasty breakfast with BIG portions. Make sure to Hop on the waitlist! I got the praline bacon pancakes and would eat them every day for a week. The beignets were just ok. Overall I would visit again in a heartbeat!! Highly recommend

The restaurant was clean. They were not overly busy, so we did not have to wait for our table. The wait staff were friendly and our food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Veggie Benedict (grilled tomatoes and fried green tomatoes). It is was very good. My husband had the Bread Pudding Pancakes which were excellent. I will definitely be going again the next time we are in Charleston and will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family.

Strolling down East Bay Street, just a short walk away from Joe Riley Waterfront Park, sits this little gem. Originally started in Louisiana, expansion came to the Charleston food scene! Welcome Ruby Sunshine to our community and neighborhoods. Don’t be fooled by the small appearance from front entry, this is large spacious dining facility with outdoor seating areas. The menu brings a pallet eruption! A taste of classic southern comforts and the bayou combined created flavorful dishes. While not an original local restaurant - definitely a must try when in Charleston!Pic shown:The Trifecta. $20.Chicken St Charles: fried chicken breast served over warm buttermilk biscuit, topped with poached eggs and finished with a Tasso cream sauce. ☑️Eggs Cochon:Slow cooked, apple braised pork Severus served over a buttermilk biscuit topped with poached eggs and finished with hollandaise sauce. ☑️Bayou Shrimp:Gulf shrimp sautéed with pork Tasso and creole tomato sauce served over a buttermilk biscuit, fried green tomato and poached eggs. ☑️Absolutely Stellar!- The Pirate Hunter

The food is amazing!!!! Service is super friendly and my waitress made great recommendations. My daughters got the kids fried chicken slider and the biscuits and gravy. I got the eggs Benedict. The atmosphere is bright and open and we will definitely be back!

Went looking for a good Southern breakfast experience and found this awesome spot a block from our hotel.I’m a fan of chicken and waffles and I love spice so I had to try the Sweet Heat Chicken and French Toast Bites.Chicken and fresh strawberries tossed in Hot Honey Glaze over French toast bites. So. Good. The combination of sweet, hot, and savory was perfect.So….the food was great. But the staff was amazing. Jodi was our waitress. Not only was she friendly and attentive but engaging to the point that she solidified our plans for the day sending us on a great relaxing trip to Folly Beach including a few “local” hints on where to Park and which paths to take to see the best parts of the beach and lighthouse area. Thank you!!!!
