Found the place on google close to our hotel, had good reviews. Walked in, looked like a standard Chinese takeout place. This wasn’t really what we had in mind for our dinner but decided to try it anyway. DO NOT BE FOOLED, THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!! My wife said it’s the best pho she has ever had and the Spicy beef and noodle soup was perfect! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!! Waiter even had jokes!
Food is amazing. Never disappointed when I come here Weiye is super nice!
DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.I ordered vegetable lumpia, which looks like very deep fried egg rolls, and they are so salty I can't finish them. I ordered 2 servings of Lumpia not knowing I might suffer high blood pressure if I consumed all 6.I also ordered wanton noodle soup, which they were out of and did know until I went to check on my to go order.I would never eat in at Riso because a rug at the entranceway is as filthy and black as I have never seen in a restaurant before. Upon entry, there was a table that hadn't been cleaned...dishes remained on the table. It is quite messy, smelly, and I'm not sure how the folks who were eating in did so without feeling very uncomfortable.I did not see the 4.3 rating prior to my order, or else I wouldn't have made the order.
We dined in and received quick service and for the price, the food was pretty good.
Wasn't really anything special. Not bad, just little bland. My daughter had the Pho with steak and I had the Shrimp Pad Thai. Shrimp were slightly over cooked. My husband ate my leftovers when I went home and he really liked it. Service was excellent.
We were immediately greeted and told we can sit anywhere we'd like. The staff was very attentive and cleared plates/bowls as soon as they were empty. I gave the Beef Pho a try (wish they had seafood Pho since that's my go-to). The veggies were fresh and plentiful. The wasn't enough noodles in my opinion for the amount of liquid, however my dining companion was more than happy. We also had edamame, which was yummy and difficult to mess up, and lumpia which was good but pretty average. I'll go back to try the rest of the menu.
The waiter seemed overwhelmed going back and forth between the tables and takeout. When I got my food, I noticed that the rice that accompanied my sweet and sour pork was missing, so I had to go back in. When I got home it turns out that the sweet and sour PORK was not pork, but Chicken ?? Also the sweet chili duck sauce tasted like ALL vinegar. We had to use the packeted duck sauce due to the very strong vinegar flavor. Portions are small compared to other restaurants.
Wow this restaurant is great! We ordered the kimchi udon soup, pad Thai, and general Tso chicken. All of which was AMAZING! The service was quick and helpful. I will say this was some of the best Asian food I've had in quite a while. I will definitely be back again.
I've been going here for yearsss, purely because Riso was one of the first places to offer boba tea (and the variety is wonderful!). Service is always fast and friendly, prices are low and portions are huge. And if you like spicy food, there's a ton of options for you! The summer rolls, cold noodles and hot pot are my favorites
We ate here about a week ago and are on our way to eat lunch there again! It’s located in a small outdoor mall and looks very unassuming. Don’t be fooled ?. The quality of the food is very high. Their Pho broth is rich and luxurious. The General Tso plate was also delicious. We can’t wait to gradually work our way through the menu. If you are looking for tasty Asian food please do yourself a favor and dine at Riso’s Noodle House.
