Absolutely phenomenal experience. Anastasia was the best server I could have ever asked for. The food and the margaritas were incredible and for such a great price, I would have easily spent more if I was back home in MA for everything I got. Can not recommend this place enough. Ask for Anastasia when you go, she is such a gem. Talk about service with a smile! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Great Margheritas, with lime juice, not a mix, which came with tortilla chips and plenty of proper salsa (not gloopy). You get two massive cups of iced water as well (this is not forgive in the UK!). The combinations are great if you don't need the full three pieces of enchiladas/tacos etc. You can have 1, 2 or 3 different ones. I had a beef taco and enchilada. Very tasty.Our waitress, Anastasia, was amazing. Not only was she incredibly efficient but she was a delight to talk to - she is a very bright, well informed and competent young woman. We would certainly want her to serve us in future.The bill for two Margheritas and two sets of two selections of the combinations came to $44 before tips.
All these years Rio Chico has been right down the street but we always drove the bridge to Maria's or hiked to Santis.They have great fresh food, fresh chips and kicky salsa. Daily specials are a nice option for savings. Really friendly service and reasonable prices. Rio Chico is now our preferred spot for quick Mexican cuisine.
I went to the Mt. Pleasant location in Belle Hall. I had no idea it was there! The menu is huge as are the portions. Best Mexican I've had so far here in CHS. Very reasonable. I will be back!
I love this place. Great mexican food and plenty of quantity for the price. Entrées are easily 2 meal portions and that's from a man who likes big portions!
My fish tacos were great! Even without guacamole or avocado. Wonderful service too.

Rio Chico on Folly Road on James Island is a great place to go for delicious and well made Mexican food and drinks. I like just about everything on the menu and it is well prepared and fresh. I really like the atmosphere that they have here and being able to eat outside too. I have enjoyed myself every time I have been here.

Super Mexican for Margaritas, chips, salsa, Burritos, friendly conversations. A great after work spot to unwind with friends and neighbors. Food always good, fresh and hpt. Service is friendly and accurate.
