Republic is one of my favorite night life scenes in Charleston. It gets super crowded, so I used to try and avoid it late nights. However, I got a table one night and our gorgeous VIP girl Kaitlin C was AMAZING!! She helped us with all the logistics. She was a pleasure to work with. Her and the other VIP ladies are all super nice and accommodating. Kaitlin was so personable and funny. I highly recommend doing a VIP table for late nights at republic. Otherwise, I really enjoy their patio. It’s so evident the bar tenders all work so hard to give you a great experience.
I have been to a lot of clubs over time, but definitely highly recommend going to Republic if you are looking for a place to go. I had Joe Bradley help take care of everything I needed. All my friends and I had to do was show up and have fun. I could not thank him and the staff enough. Joe went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, definitely a trip that will never be forgot!
Republic is one of my favorite Charleston spots when it gets warm out. I love the vibe they have created outside and it’s just a great place to have fun with friends.Their staff is always beautiful and friendly. Kaitlin was very attentive and was super fun. She made me and my girlfriends experience there a 10/10.
Republic is one of the best options for a night out in Charleston. The atmosphere is comfortable and always vibrant and whether it’s packed full or not, you’re sure to meet someone new and have an exciting night. Their staff is incredible and Joe in particular has always made me feel so welcomed and made sure I had a good time! Definitely a must visit when in Charleston!
Republic G&L is one of my favorite places to go when I am in The Holy City. I am super excited to stop by this spring/summer and see the new renovations to the patio area. Music is great. Ambiance is fabulous. Staff is extremely friendly. If you ever find yourself at Republic - definitely ask for TJ! He serves the BEST cocktails - strong & delicious. He’s also not bad to look at! ;)
Republic is easily one of my favorite spots in Charleston. I went there on a Sunday afternoon check out the updates to the outside patio and was very impressed with what they did with the space.The staff is also very accommodating and knows what they are doing behind the bar. We spent a few hours there, so we chatted with the bartenders a bit in-between drinks which made us feel like regulars! We also had the opportunity to meet the manager Daniel who was checking in and making sure everything was satisfactory.Very please with with our experience! Can't wait for the weather to get nicer so we can make the Republic patio our regular spot!
Vibrant atmosphere both inside and outside! Fantastic spot to celebrate with friends. We had a great time thanks to the manager Dan and highly recommend it for a fun night out.
I have long aged out of the club atmosphere. That being said, going to Republic before the younger group arrives and on week days is very enjoyable! The staff are attentive and remember my go to drinks. The remodel of the outside is great!Robby, Matt and Claire are absolutely fantastic!I have been somewhat regular since I’ve moved to the city, and look forward to visiting more.
Had an awesome night here with some friends who came in town! Great lay out and music! Enough room inside and out for there to be a good bit of people but never waited long for a drink! The staff was great and attentive but especially Matt! He kept the energy up and always seemed to pop up when we needed refills!
Sunday night we stumbled upon this hip place called Republic which is located on upper King Street. The music and the loungey club vibes made our night with a chill night experience. But it wasn’t all about the ambiance of the Republic bar. The staff are one of a kind. Robby our bartender created these delicious cocktails for us. He also was very informative with recommendations here in Charleston. Great bartender. His sidekick Kyle was great and funny too.
