My wife have been meaning to check this place out. Have heard so many good things about this food truck set-up and the reviews are great so today was our first visit. Go to the back of the building as it’s hidden.Wow bloody wow….Talk about a treat. We ordered a bit of everything and what an experience. The food is so authentic. I’ll let the photos do the talking but you know a place is good when you leave with a circus in your mouth. Very inexpensive also and the service is top notch.3 Thumbs Up ???and5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us.You won’t be disappointed ?
My family and I are obsessed with Platia! We have eaten here at least 1x /week for the last 6 weeks since I delivered my son — we started off with Ubereats and now visit the food truck with our kids and always go explore the garden and green space behind The Schoolhouse while we wait for our food.Our favorite menu items are the pork gyros and sea salt fries — it’s honestly the best gyro we’ve ever had and it’s consistently delicious. Their sea salt fries are perfection and always crispy (even somehow when we order delivery?!).Needless to say, we LOVE this place and we’ll see you next week ?
We used Platia for a CofC grad party this past Saturday. We loved it! It was the easiest idea for catering a party. The good was excellent. Options for everyone - vegan, salad protein, gyro! Feta fries and pimento spread are must haves!Every guest raved about the good! I highly recommend them for private events and look forward to going to the truck again!
Adorable little spot with fantastic vegan options! I loved my impossible gyro with vegan tzatziki, and my husband loved his chicken gyro with traditional tzatziki. Super friendly team members working, and a cute little seating area. 10/10 will be back!
The best Greek food in Charleston!! Very tasty meal. Quick service. Spend $29 for 2 with a tip. Both got a gyro and a side. Will definitely visit again. Recommend!
My husband and I have been big fans of Platia for a few years, and they just keep getting better. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the customer service is incredible. We recently had a baby and placed a delivery order through Seamless/GrubHub. We were quoted a 60 minute wait time and tracked the driver as she was on her way. Everything was looking good until she kept going in the wrong direction and our delivery time kept getting pushed back. Two hours later, and no response from the driver - we were very hungry, frustrated and tired. We called GrubHub but they couldn't do much for us... so we called Platia to see if they could help The owner was more than understanding, and decided to place a new order and pay for it out of his own pocket, to be immediately picked up and delivered to us via DoorDash. It even somehow tasted a bit better than usual - must have been the extra compassion and generosity!
Wonderful Med food to take out. Not inexpensive but at least decent value for the straightforward selection of courses and dishes on the menu. Everything from salad to yogurt to baklava is fresh, delicious and prepared on-site. Easy to order online, and ready to pick up at the designated time.
Excellent Greek delights!! When I'm in Charleston I always try to stop here. It's a food truck so I don't really think they have curbside delivery, you can order through a delivery service.
I don’t ever do stuff like this but I am so shocked at the way I was just talked to by an employee at a food truck that we often order from. Platia Greek Food Truck was so unbelievably rude to me when I called to say half my order was missing delivered by Uber Eats. He not once apologized and yelled at me to take it up with Uber eats even thought the receipt on the exterior of the bag clearly stated what was supposed to be in there. I’m telling you, I don’t get upset about this stuff but the guy immediately JUMPED down my throat and started yelling at me. Won’t ever order from there again. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE for a small private company.
