Nice outside dining area. Good service. Great oysters, fresh crab and a good selection on the menu. Nice spot for a casual lunch.
Had a couple fabulous visits to The O-Bar, and the patio for delicious feed & wonderful southern hospitality & service from Juliana - a Poly Sci Major @ U of Charleston, who was great and gave us wonderful service!
It’s our first time in Charleston, and we’ve never had raw oysters before, so we had lots of questions. Juliana walked us through the entire process from ordering them to how to properly enjoy them! Such amazing food, and great service! Highly highly recommend to anyone!!
First stop in South Carolina for us, and we couldn’t be happier! Our server Juliana taught us all how to shoot oysters and was the best welcome we could have gotten to the city!! :)
I got the Coastal Seafood Trio. The Brussel sprouts were great. I wasn't a huge fan of the Red Rice but it wasn't bad. Shrimp was absolutely phenomenal. The Snapper wasn't as moist as I would have liked it and didn't have as much flavor as I would have hoped. Scallops were a little on the chewy side but the flavor really brought them home. All of the food had a great presentation as well. This place is really pricey though.Service was good. I was happy that even though we missed our reservations they got us in pretty quick. Waitress was attentive and no one ever had an empty glass.For an appetizer I got the Cheese Fritters. I really was not expecting the amount and size of them. You get around 6 and they're larger than a golf ball. They are on the spicy side but have great flavor. Bacon wrapped shrimp were really good!I also got a Moscow Mule which wasn't bad although I have had better Mules. My girl friend got the Malibu Bay Breeze which she loved. Overall good experience.
The food is not bad but the manager is horrible. We ask if they provide military discount before we order. They told me they do have the discount. However, when we ready to pay the bill I found that there is not discount on the bill. Moreover, the manager change his words and deny what he say before. I don't care about the money but I do care about the attitude. They make me feel sick. If there is a zero star, I will give zero to this restaurant. I will tell my friends don't go to this restaurant. It's a horrible experience.I just check my bank account and realize this restaurant charge me more than I expected. I report it to my bank and dispute the extra amount. Please stay away from this restaurant and check bank account carefully.
Juliana was excellent, funny and really took care of us and made us feel welcome. Outstanding food as well, I recommend the snapper sandwich!

Juliana was great. Highly recommend. Ordered oysters, appetizers, and lunch entrees. Service was great, and accommodated us even with rain.
Came here for lunch, the drink selection was great and the food was even better! Our server Juliana took the time to give great recommendations and was very attentive.
