Food good value and presentation excellent. Wait staff was attentive

Extremely slow service.

Amazing food! Everything we tried was great. Bolognese, carbonara, bruschetta of the day and the cheesecake.

Great service and amazing food. I true hidden gem in Charleston.

Great experience. Food was delicious and unique. Can’t beat the service.

Sadly we were very disappointed with Muse…we were seated quickly for our reservation, but it all went downhill from there. The tables were basically on top of each other, our table was completely lopsided, and our chairs were broken and wobbling around. The server was nice, but wow was everything slow. Took forever to get our drinks, over 30 minutes to get a simple, uncooked appetizer of hummus and pita, and around an hour and twenty minutes to get our meals! Which is odd, since they made us order the app and main course at the same time so they could “space it out” for us. I got the chicken carbonara which was just okay. My husband got the bacon wrapped steak special with veggie and pommes frites. The bacon was completely under cooked and there were no pommes frites at all like the daily special had said, and instead were 3 slivers of potato. We asked our server why it didn’t come with it, and she had to go ask and then told us they had actually ran out of pommes frites that day. We chatted with the table next to us who were also disappointed, with broken chairs, and no food yet. Considering the prime location downtown, we had expected a lot more from this place :(

Great meal. The drinks were made well and the server was on the ball. It is in an old Charleston house so there was some ambiance.

My experience can best be described as a”fancy menu” with budget prepared food. Food tasted like sauces from a jar. We had eggplant parmigiana and Carbonara with shrimp added. The eggplant was sliced so thin that the only thing I could taste was the breading. The noodles were stuck together. The shrimp added to the Carbonara which actually had alfredo sauce instead for was grilled and plopped on top- no infusion of flavors. We were offered bread and received it 30 minutes later. It was cold and obviously was loaf bread like you buy at any grocery store. The olive oil that was served ( poured in a coffee saucer) tasted of a combination of olive oil and canola oil We ordered wine. I decided on a different wine after my first glass. I was not one bit shocked when the server poured the different wine into the same glass. Our server was pleasant yet, no sense of awareness of typical customer needs. I live locally and always want to give locals restaurants a try. Sadly, I will not return to Muse.

We come here each and every time in Charleston and have never had a bad meal. Servers work hard and are super friendly! Love Muse!

This restaurant is in an old house so rooms are small and it tends to be noisy. Felt cramped...as if the next tables were too close. It was just my husband and myself so we didn't talk much but could hear conversations at every table in our room. We were also seated near the kitchen so there was a lot of traffic by the table. However, the service was good and the food was exceptional!
