I like it. I get the same thing all the time: Balboa with French fries with fountain drink. It's pricy here but then, you're Downtown Charleston. Lots of hungry students and tourists behind you waiting to pay.I wish they did Uber Eats.I always call ahead and place order. Wait time is usually very long here: 15-30mins. Especially during lunch hours.You csn grab and go or seat outside on the small umbrella porch they got, which is always crowded and very sunny. You can't sit there when it's raining.No restroom here so beware.They got fountain drinks and sweet/ice tea.Parking is a hit or miss. It's small but people are constantly in and out so you're most likely going to be lucky to find a spot. I park across the street in front of old/abandoned Warehouse.
I love this place. They make really solid breakfast sandwiches. I don't live in Charleston anymore but I always try to grab breakfast here on my way out of town after a visit. It's a good treatment for the inevitable Charleston hangover before the drive.
As a recent NY transplant to Charleston SC, one of the things you miss is a good deli. I love me a bacon egg and cheese on a roll or really good bagel. While the bagels here are not quite NY quality, they are the closest thing to it that I have had. I'll be returning.
If your looking for fine dinning move on. If your looking one of the best sandwhiches ever, stop by. I has the Godfather which is a spin on the classic Italian sub. It was a healthly portion, the meat was fresh and very flavorful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in making suggestions. Whenever I'm back in Charleston this will definetly be must stop!
I do business in Charleston once and a year and look forward to going there just so I can get lunch here. Fantastic food and great service!!! Just as a heads up the sandwiches are HUGE and very filling. Definitely give this place a try.
Prior to placing an order it stated that it would take 20 minutes to prepare. When I got a confirmation email it stated that it would take 45 minutes. I waited the time and when I went to pick up the food not only was there no parking but my food was still not ready. Instead of being apologetic about this I got a simple mutter "your food is not ready." A single wrap not ready in 50 mins, absolutely ridiculous. I asked to cancel my order and the lady responded with I'll refund you extremely rudely. There was not a single apology for the delay in time or the fact that they time that chow now stated was off over double the time they originally stated.
The food had a good flavor and a good variety.
This facility was hyped to me as being a superb place to eat. Actually the facility that was hyped to me was the one in Mount pleasant to which we were going until we saw the one on meeting Street. Believing them to be the same we stopped at the facility on meeting Street. I was disappointed in the food I received at this facility and would recommend against dining here if you have the choice and opportunity to eat at the facility in Mount pleasant.
Anyone who has anything bad to say about Mozzo well to say the least does not know what a real NY Deli sandwich is. This place is FABULOUS. THE BEST. PERIOD. People here are so used to bad they don't know what GREAT IS.Keep up the fabulous work folks. Your the best. Period.
Best sandwiches in town, super friendly staff, and great prices. What more can you ask.
