Best thai in Charleston. Sushi had lots of fish, not all rice! Spring rolls authentic rice paper. Very clean and friendly good service. Good portions.
The reviews looked great and we were visiting the area for a wedding. We ordered sushi and pancit. The sushi was plentiful, but just okay. It definitely needed some types of dipping sauces to ad flavor. The Pancit a Philippino noodle dish was my dinner. Omg, my mouth was on Fire! For some reason, the chef added red chili pepper to the dish, making it inedible. I asked why they would add the peppers to the dish and I was told that they Always made it that way! They remade my dinner, but by the time it arrived, I wasn't hungry anymore. I don't recommend this restaurant.
I just ate here two days in a row because I loved it so much. I had the Ginger Pork, Thai spring rolls, Vietnamese spring rolls, egg rolls and the chicken pad Thai. The people I was with also ordered pancit noodles, beef stir fry and adobo chicken. All were absolutely exceptional, some of the best cuisine I’ve had since moving to Charleston. Would highly recommend!
Excellent! I had calamari as appetizer and seafood red curry as main. Both delicious. Vegetables in the curry were very fresh. Also tried Thai iced tea which is quite refreshing.
Mei Thai has good food. It’s menu has Thai and Filipino dishes. I got the pork belly Sisig with rice, I loved it. My son got some variation of a Thai noodle soup dish and lumpia. His dish was large, he ended up taking it home and finishing later. My only issue are the soft drinks come in a can so refills can get pricey… especially if I want a Coke with my savory food. My Sisig was good, the portion left me wanting more, only because I’m a big eating Filipino myself. I’d like to revisit to get my wife’s take on it.
This is a decent Thai restaurant I ordered the fried rice and the taste is good. I also ordered the Halo Halo (popular Filipino dessert). This is delicious and nice to drink when the weather is hot. They also service Filipinos dishes along with Thai.
Great place near Northwoods Mall with great options from Thai to Filipino to Sushi. I love the sushi & pancit when I come. Friendly staff and everyone is always so cheerful.
I got food poisoning from this place ?So much for trying something differentI ordered the pancit btw
Definitely have fallen in love. The waitress was extremely helpful & friendly. The food was amazing. Vietnamese rolls are my fav.......
Second visit in one week. Very impressed. Wide selection of food choices; almost two many. Recommend the Thai beef soup. Very tasty. Large portion for$12.95. Also love the Thai coffee. Will stop here whenever I am in North Charleston.
