Bad service,We walked up through the drivethrough because the restaurant was closed and it was within walking distance of our hotel, then when we finally got to the speaker they told us: "we don't do walk-ups".Annoyed but still hungry we walked to get our car because online it said they we're open till 00:00 we got there at 23:05 and now the speaker said they are closed for the day.Thanks McDonalds for wasting an hour of my time and still not getting me anything to eat.
Drive through only that's crazy 45 minutes for food. That's unexceptable
Cashier was GREAT! Very professional, fast service, tasty food, clean interior and exterior. COVID-19 compliant with mask wearing and social distancing. Overall, a nice experience.
Worst fast food place in Charleston. Sat in the drive through line for 20+ minutes, only to be told they were closed when I get to the speaker to order. This is at 9:45pm on a Saturday night! Website and all posted times say close at 12am. So steer clear. They’d love to waste your time if you give them the chance. They could care less.
This location would make a lot more money if they could get people in and out faster. Takes a very long time every time I go here.Edit: The above post is from 3 years ago and still holds true. Went there today for nuggets and two were stuck together, causing them to not be cooked, and effectively turning my 10 piece into an 8 piece. This McDonald’s is consistently bad unfortunately.
We did not even get the 2 orders of nuggets, the 2 fish filets were at least 5 hours old thrown in a box and no tartar sauce, 3 cheeseburgers were disgusting and the 2 apples pies expired at 9:27am and we ordered at 9pm. The food was inedible and after reading the reviews obviously they don’t care. I can’t wait for automation they do not deserve more money per hour. SMH!!!
This place is the absolute worst. I’ve lived here most of my life and this McDonald’s has always been trash.They tried to spruce it up with the renovations, giving it a facelift but, they kept the same ignorant people. I’m not sure why they keep hiring the worst people. The lady that works the first window is rude and so is everyone else that works there. They are all lazy people who lack social skills. When you drive up in the drive through you get no manners , short responses like “second window”, “pull up”, and to be honest most of the time I’ll be lucky if I even get a response when I pull into there. No please, no thank you. After telling them my order I’ll frequently get cut off or just no feedback at all. Maybe if they acted like they care even just a TAD bit things would be okay. But NO- nobody here is sincere and everyone has an attitude.
I went by the other day for breakfast. The hours stated they opened at 6:30 for some reason now. I was there till almost 7, and still no one had even taken anyones order. I had at least 20 cars pull up behind me at drive and then leave. You can't be expected to pay top dollar for things when they aren't top-notch.
At 9:33 am on a Monday morning I am informed that they are only serving lunch. (after I paid for my breakfast meal) I ordered 2 breakfast meals with drinks. These clowns have me 2 hard burgers 1 small cold fries and 2 ice coffees with no sugar in them. My Prego girlfriend is trippin. Thanks alot McDonald's. You have absolutely dropped the ball this morning. This isn't the first mishap here in the recent weeks either. Kinds wishing they would bring the king back. Whoppers over big Macs if it's hot and the service is better any day of the week (never thought I would say those words)
Disrespectful-I'm a DoorDasher, and I came the the drive thru and said I was here to pick up an order.They asked for my order #, then halfway through telling them, they disrespectfully, rudely cut me off mid-sentance and angrily told me, "2nd window" as if I was a stain on the bottom of their shoe.Who talks to people like that? Who treats somebody doing a service for their business like that?Disrespectful, unprofessional, and aggressive.If somebody talked to me like that in the street, it wouldn't be tolerated. Period.
