Little deli on market street, great location, small, cramped eat in area. My friend and I stopped in for lunch on Monday. First off, This was our first time in so we were trying to look at the menu, flipping over to see both sides. The guy at the register said everything is the same, so you don't have to flip the menu. We asked about the make your own salad, he didn't know what a chef salad was. He had to ask someone what was included in a chef salad. I ordered a salad, my friend ordered a BLT. We both said the orders was to eat in. Both orders took awhile, over 12 minutes. Both of our lunches came out on paper plates. Yes, they served a chef salad on a paper plate! The bacon on the BLT was lacking, there was like 3 slices on it. The bread was barely toasted. The salad looked good, real shredded mozzarella and cheddar; real slices of ham and turkey. but that was the only thing good about it. I got honey mustard dressing, even with the dressing, the salad was tasteless. The price of the salad was $8.99, with a fountain drink, and 15% tip, my bill was $13.96, definitely not worth it.
I was out in downtown early around 6:30 am trying to find a place open to get some coffee with no luck. Then i hear music, see lights and the door open to the only shop around open. Rodney was already up and at it prepping for the day. He said we don’t open until 7 but he wasn’t going to turn anyone away. He fired the grill up, made me a sandwich and handed me a cup for my coffee. Props
Meh, got a ham sandwich on a croissant. There's better places around to spend $15 on okay good.
1st breakfast in Charleston.... Shrimp and Grits were amazing!!! Can't recommend enough! Everyone should breakfast here!!!
Man was it busy when I got there. Full line out the door but they still got my 5 person order out in 15mins!!. The only thing is the cleanliness. Not in the eating area but in the kitchen. It needs a FULL detail. Too much old grease stuck as residue on the walls, counters and plastic partitions.
I ordered the French toast abs one egg. They wait time was excessive, they seemed to be a bit slow. When I finally got my meal, the toast slices looked small and it was not very warm but was tasty, the fried egg was good and seemed like more than just one. Overall an ok experience.
This little deli is awesome the food is good and fresh and the people working here are very accommodating. I ordered the wrong salad and could have easily just taken the stuff off of it that I didn't want but they made me a whole new salad without me even asking. Super experience.

No frills deli style restaurant .. An oasis surrounded by tourist traps..Go in, grab a decent sandwich and bounce..and it won't break your wallet
