Moved in this neighborhood recently and google the closest bar on a rainy night. It was slow and late but the staff' the DJ and the Chef was so welcoming that I will be back for the simple kindness & good vibes. Check it out.
I've been to a lot of bars all across the country, and I am mildly intoxicated currently, but I love this bar. The bartender and regulars are all great people. I just feel as if I'm "hanging out with the cool cousin during the holidays" every single time that I have been here (which is six times). Like I said, I love this bar.
Wow. I'm disappointed that all of Charleston has not discovered the amazing hospitality that is Local 616. Dwayne is such a gem, knows the restaurant scene, and knows that not everyone wants just a beer or liquor with a mixer. Ask him about his experimentation with simple syrups and making tasty cocktails, and that beautiful food menu. Then just chill and watch some game shows, sports or f*** it... He's got an N64 with ocarina of time at one of the booths and a classic Nintendo in another!!! Seriously what more can you want? Class, nostalgia, and comfort, all in one location. I'm in love.
Just popped in here randomly for a drink and a burger. Very solid bar, friendly owners and fantastic food options.Would highly recommend!

Brice the DJ goes by "b_still_yo" has a music mix that's smooth, melodic, on time blends of old and new raps and sounds that is AWESOME RELAXING!Then I smashed the Smash Burger! It's very tasty.
