Never imagined walking out of a Krispy Kreme without a donut, but today it happened. It is rare I am close to a KK location and I was super excited to go in for a glazed or a glazed crème filled. Surprised to find neither on display. So I asked how long will the wait be for either of those 2 donuts. Staff was very much not interested and I did not get a clear answer. Then glazed donuts started rolling out and a staff person said those were for a order that needed to be filled first. “We have to fill all these boxes.” The stack of boxes appeared very tall. Maybe I will get a coffee and wait, I said. Nobody seems very interested in a coffee order. I stood at the register and waited patiently. When other customers got their donut orders they also ordered coffee and I stepped aside to allow those people to cash out. At that point I looked at my wife and said, “I guess if you don’t get a donut then you don’t get coffee either.” I shrugged my shoulders and walked out disappointed. Never imagined it.It’s not KK, I know. The staff at the counter just was not as enthusiastic about donuts, or their jobs as I was. West Ashley Krispy Kreme, I am still a fan, hoping for better service next time I am in town. It’s gonna be another long 6 months until I get my glazed donut.-John
They gave us the wrong donuts and had an attitude when we ordered. I asked if they could repeat the donuts they had and the respose was, "like I told you..." i ordered 2 custard and 2 choc custard and got one custard, one choc custard and 2 frosted filled ones. Not sure what happened to polite customer service. Will not be back to Krispy Kreme!
My mistake was visiting on St. Patrick's Day around 4pm. I ordered 4 Donuts, 2 custard filled and 2 glazed Donuts via their drive thru. Arrived at work looked in bag, I received the custard filled Donuts, they were delicious. My issue with glazed Donuts, it was covered in green glaze. Gave store a call about green glazed donuts. Per my conversation with sales person, they were out of regular glazed donuts so she made the decision to give me green glazed Donuts without telling me. I know it's only green food coloring, but I should have been given a choice. She said I could return Donuts. I off work at 8pm. I'm not stopping to return 2 Donuts. I ate them later that night. They tasted like regular glazed Donuts, but it was not green glaze only, it was a green donut with green glaze. It was fine, I guess I just made a mountain out of mole hill.
We arrived inside with 2 people in line in front of us. The older lady asked the people in front of us if she had forgotten part of their order and they had not even ordered yet. The guy I'm assuming was the manager was standing chatting to a couple while 2 more people came in and got in line. He finally decided to come take our order and acted like it was an inconvenience to him. Everyone was VERY slow moving. I ordered an iced coffee and it was made with beyond burnt coffee. The floor was being mopped with very dirty mop water and there was trash on the floor that should have been swept before being mopped.
Went to Krispy Kreme ?today the parking lot was packed, inside was packed, and the service was great ?they had plenty of workers ?????? I am thinking the reason was they have their Delicious“cookies and cream Oreo” doughnuts out. I purchased four dozen, due to having my son’s teenage friends over for the weekend.
Don’t try to go here after 5pm. They don’t have any assortment. Only like 3 different kinds. I kept having to ask random kinds of donuts only to be told “nope, WE out too”. Great grammar. It’s like everyone stops working beforehand. And the line took me 45 min to get through with only 3 cars ahead of me. Order taker was rude and sounded high as a kite. Got to the window and he didn’t say a word. Just took my card, shut the window then handed my card and order to me and shut the window again. On the upside when I looked through the drive through window the store seemed super clean. I guess that’s what they’re doing instead of making the product for the customers. Terrible customer service. I’ve tried about 5 times after work to come here and it takes this long with the same exact thing everytime. Get it together. For a multi million dollar company, get your franchisee in order.
Service Sucks, but the donuts are great. 8 people on shift, 3 working with one on the counter. You know that it will be a little cloud of heaven ready to melt on your tongue, just let the wait be a tease for what comes next.
If you are going to Krispy Kreme on Savannah highway West Ashley today 2/6/22, they didn't have any cinnamon swirls. They said they are making them and it would be 30-45 min. So don't get your hopes up. We also waited 45 min to order. So order ahead. Just heads up. The donuts were hot and ready when we got them and delicious and they can't really help that everyone in West Ashley is there right now. Just a heads up if you are on your way there right now. Order ahead and chill at your house.
Terrible service last night. They had no doughnuts left and the ones they gave us were cold and crusty. They should not be open if that’s what they are serving.
