This may be one of the worst run food establishments in the area. Their operation downtown is just plain filthy and worn - not a place you want to sit and enjoy a cookie. My wife and I decided to give their Mt Pleasant location a try with our 2 grandkids yesterday. When we entered we saw the 2 tall chairs that look like thrones which immediately attracted our granddaughter. As she approached, she saw a small white down between the chairs. We have dogs so she has always been taught to wait and let the dog smell her. Instead the dog just growled from its belly. As we were pulling her away, the dog started barking loudly at us. The owner or worker came out from the kitchen and told us to get the kids away from the dog because it bites. That was enough for us - we just left. What kind of food establishment brings a dog that bites around customers - especially a cookie place which attracts kids??!! I don't even understand how they are allowed to have a dog in a food establishment in the first place. Count that we will never be back.
We met the owner and he was very friendly. Better yet, the cookie was surprisingly more delicious than we expected. It was hefty and slightly gooey in the middle and incredibly moist. This is a great place with delicious cookies, not sub par or even par, but a hole in one kind of taste.
Great place! Amazing owner, very nice and funny. Great assortment of cookies and ice cream! Would definitely recommend!!
5 stars because they had 6 different vegan cookies. I had the chocolate chip one and it was great. If you're not vegan you'll have many more to choose from.
Really fantastic cookie store. The cookies are really fun and delicious. Some great and unique flavors are available and they have delicious gluten free and vegan options. We got a bunch of cookies as well as some drinks and enjoyed it all. Staff was very friendly. Only issue is the decor of the store is really lacking.
I actually have no idea how good the cookies were or weren’t because with about 10 minutes before closing, we walk in and get told they’re closed ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. I’m not asking you to bake me a whole batch of cookies. I’m just saying either stay open until your hours posted or LOCK THE DOOR AND CLOSE. Especially with a competitor like Insomnia right down the street, closing early is begging people to go to the big chain store and put you out of business.
Delish cookies of every variety...something for everyone, even gluten free.
SO MANY FLAVORS! such a fun place !!! Definitely a must stop by place! I wish they shipped!
Stumbled upon this place and absolutely loved the apricot ginger cookie! The chocolate with cayenne was good too, but a bit dry.
