Lots of amazing flavors to try, wish I was in town longer to try more of them! The candied apples were very popular - lots of people buying them when I was there.

One of Charleston's (admittedly very touristy) must-sees, if only to press your face against the shop window and drool at the chocolate toffee apples, ice creams and treats. It's a cornucopia of calories, and none the worse for that! Because it's so close to the Charleston market house it gets a lot of footfall, but you can either admire from the street or be tempted and try an ice cream, which is very good - especially when the weather heats up.

Tons of candy options like fudge and caramel apples etc. So cute! Ice cream too. So good! The store is a little on the congested side so if there’s more than a few people inside it makes it hard to look at what you may want to get but it’s definitely worth stopping in for a treat!

Love their selection and the ice cream is creamy and fresh. The chocolates are fantastic as well. Always a stop for us when visiting the Market.

The ice cream and sweets were all really delicious. For sweets, I highly recommend their sea salt turtles and their caramel apples.

Ice Cream, sweets, fudge, lots of treats. Pricy but generous portions. Always a big line but it moved fast enough.

While Charleston has some of the best food around, it is not known for ice cream (certainly not to the level of... Let's say Montreal Canada). That being said, Kilwin's has some extremely decent offerings. Their ice cream is certainly the best in town. They also have all kinds of candied products. The shop can be busy and packed but the line usually moves fairly quickly, even during peak time you should be able to get your ice cream in 5 to 10 minutes.

Loved the ice cream & this location. The girl who helped us was awesome. She was patient with us & helped us decide which ice cream to get. We tried the New Orleans praline pecan which is what she suggested & it didn’t disappoint. It’s a must try

My husband and I love Kilwin’s ice cream and have visited many different locations while traveling. This location had the familiar great ice cream but misrepresented pricing when asked. So my husband asked for a small cone then asked if it came with 2 flavors and the server said yes. So we ordered 2 small waffle cones with 2 flavors but on checking out were charged just under $20 for the 2 cones. We have never paid that much for 2 small cones at Kilwin’s. The server then told us that the ice cream was not sold by “small” or “regular” size but rather by the number of scoops. We feel she should have told us this upfront when my husband had asked rather than upcharging us without telling us. And she was quite rude about it making it seem like it was our mistake even though my husband was very clear with his question. This experience will make us think hard about ever returning to this Kilwin’s location.

With all the other fudge and candy stores surrounding this area , I advise you to pass this one up.. The fudge that we bought was old and crumbled In our hands. Very pricey and absolutely not the best.
