Great deserts, we had the brownie and ice cream.
Cool looking place and the dessert was delicious! There were a lot of options! I had the blueberry cream cake and my husband had the key lime pie. I needed a box!
Ordered a chocolate shake and a chocolate cake. First no no is the fake oil based whipped cream. Really, how hard is it to make a simple whipped cream, and you call yourself a dessert shop. Chocolate cake was old dry and crumbly. Do not waste your calories here!
Tollhouse pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was absolutely out of this world good. Reasonable prices, in my opinion, for Charleston. Service was prompt and courteous
If you are looking for a good piece of pecan pie in Charleston, stop at Kaminsky's. Place gets very busy but you can grab your pie to go and enjoy at your hotel!
They have coconut cream pie, which was the only thing I was after and it was delicious. Why the average rating? Two things, other than our server, the staff was meh. They sort of act like they’re doing you a favor. Granted, it was later in the evening but this can’t be on the customer. Second thing: Outside the doors the urine smell was so strong it burned my nose. I wonder if it’s ever been cleaned. So while you are waiting to be seated you lose your appetite.
I don't know what all the talk is about this place. High prices, terrible ice cream. I would never go there again.
We got a piece of coconut cake to take out. Overall disappointment. Very sweet with a gritty sugar feel to the icing. Not enough coconut. We were just glad we shared one piece instead of getting two pieces.
We were celebrating our three children’s birthdays and this was the place to go. We ordered two cakes- red velvet and the chocolate fudge. Red velvet was the winner, and I usually always go for the chocolate. A fun place with great service and amazing food.
One of my favorite places in Charleston!! I cannot say enough about how great the drinks were and the slices of cakes were huge and yummy. I got the key lime martini and hubby got apple pie. The cake we tried was caramel banana spice and it was amazing. We visited this place everyday. Loved it
