The food was SO good. My husband and I each got 3 tacos and for appetizers we shared the tamale and the elote dip. I had the mango Margarita which was really good as well. Our waitress was very nice and the food came quickly.
Jalisco is a James Island gem! You can’t beat the Taco Tuesday and happy hour deal. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere and festive vibe. The outdoor patio is huge and has games to play while you are waiting for your food. The food is savory, authentic, and absolutely delicious! The attention to detail with the cocktails and food makes for an elevated Mexican cuisine like no other in the Charleston area. The service is fantastic, and Chef Michael is an incredibly kind and gracious host. We absolutely love Jalisco! You should definitely drop in next Tuesday and grab a taco and margarita.
By far my favorite part of my vacation! Michael Harvey, the chef and owner, knows what he's doing and is passionate about his work and vision. Creative, authentic Mexican cuisine. The spicy peach margarita to start! We had the pleasure of trying multiple dishes while sipping on Sotol on the rocks, which I was informed is something between tequila and mezcal. Smooth and perfect complement to this feast of Ceviche, Tamale, my favorite Pulpo (grilled octopus with plantain puree and a delightful bite), carne asada taco, and pork shank over rice. Topped it all off with churros. All heaven on a plate! Why can't every day be this good? Also, impeccable knowledgeable servers and bartenders. Up there with best dining experience I've had! Thanks to Michael Harvey & staff!

Some friends and I stopped by on our way back from the beach and loved it! It was margarita Monday with all of their margaritas being $5! One of the best margaritas I've had in a while. The tacos were amazing and the salsa selection was great! The avocado salsa was my favorite. We enjoyed the tacos so much and the server told us that Tuesday was taco Tuesday with a deal on their tacos ($3.50/taco) so we stopped by the next day after the beach! The service was great and we really enjoyed our experience. Great visit!
We ate here with the family and everyone loved their meal. The tacos were delicious on fresh tortillas and the Al Pastor was amazing. The enchiladas were the best my wife has ever had. The kids enjoyed the patio with games. Let me not forget the best Margarita ever.

The food was to die for, the drinks are next level and the service was the best I’ve had in a really long time. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean and all staff was next level kind. No complaints at all about anything. The entire dining experience was perfect. Mel is who to ask for. She is the best!
