I know about sashimi as Asians, but they don't really serve poor quality fish and they also tried to trick us a few times, they mix up cheap fish that we didn't even order and increase the amount of sashimi. They brought us again when we objected, this time the number of sashimi was 5 pieces on the menu, but they brought three pieces. , The rate of this restaurant was 4.7, we were deceived by the rate and went there, this restaurant was just a Chinese restaurant that mimics Japanese food, and the waitress never apologized for anything, it's the worst day for us,absolutely avoid!!

Had reservations at 1830. Sat at the table until 1915 before we had service. Understand staffing issues but that is why you make reservations. If you canât meet the demand donât accept the reservation.
Our server Julie was great! She was attentive and even put our leftovers in boxes for us - first time that happened there.
Our server James is a rockstar among waitpersons ; he was attentive and BUSSED the table; something I have noticed many servers seem to forget or don’t realize it needs to be done. Our tepanyaki chef, Lee, prepared our food perfectly . Although we don’t live in West Ashley, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Great time for a group dinner.
It was amazing! My boyfriend and I were visiting town for the Khruangbin concert — which was stellar, also — and we found this place and wanted to try. Our chef was so friendly and prepared our food just to our liking. We will surely keep this restaurant in our back pockets for when we visit Charleston again.
They don’t do hibachi during the day. That was a little disappointing.
We had a great time! Our server was so sweet.. and the other wait staff as well. Kiki is AMAZING!! She deserves a raise plus more ?
