Our waitress was extremely helpful. Had the brisket and bbq both were cooked to perfection!!! Great local beers as well!
If anything, come here for the smoked wings and alabama white sauce. Amazing. The fried Mac and cheese balls were great, especially with the pickled relish jam on the side. The brisket slider left a bit to be desired tbh. Nevertheless, it's worth a comeback, and it's definitely worth a visit just for the smoked wings. Smoked crack.
Wow! This place is amazing the food is delicious and it is maybe one of the best barbecue places I’ve been to the brisket is soft and rich. The pulled pork was perfectly flavored and the ribs were amazing. I honestly don’t say this often but if you find yourself in Charleston you HAVE to come here! The staff is also very friendly and attentive. 10/10 across all boards

While standing in an interminable line at Lewis BBQ, we noticed this place on our map. Walked around the corner - and had a superior experience. We never had Lewis BBQ, so I don’t know how to compare, but the brisket sandwich and accompanying side items were outstanding. Our server, Mike was quick and helpful. Highly recommend.
One of the better bbq joints in the city. Reasonable prices for what you get. I got the pulled pork platter with mac and cheese + collard greens for my sides. All items were a strong 8 to a light 9 out of 10. A nice sauce selection elevated the experience even further. With the friendly service and a wonderful outdoor seating area, it's a great overall dining experience.
Never disappointed! Had the brisket sandwich special and Mac and cheese bites. So yummy! Great service too.
My husband and I were on a road trip. We found this place and we were so happy. We sat at the bar and Jay was absolutely the best bartender we have had in forever! He is definitely who you want serving you. He gave us the best recommendations. Honestly, everything we ordered was the bomb! We ordered the wings, fried ribs, burger, brisket tacos, and Mac and cheese. All of it was amazing! Thank you Jay!
We were on a mission to sample as much BBQ as possible and Home Team turned out to be the best we ate. The place is packed, the waiters are very professional and we thoroughly enjoyed eating with a selection of hot sauces, fresh rolls and pickled cucumbers and onions. Cocktails were great, as was the dessert. We left with multiple bottles of hot sauce to take home.
A staple here in Charleston, home to some of the best dry rub wings around, and amazing frozen Irish coffees - this place rocks all the time and you will be coming back
