Good food and atmosphere! We enjoyed beignets, chicken waffles and eggs Benedict with sweet potatoes. The beignets were excellent, the brunch was good as well but the waffle as well as the English muffin were a bit burned and a bit harder to chew. The staff was very nice and the live music was very good. Enjoyed the experience, but the bread and waffles need to be less burned next time. The option of having rosemary potatoes with eggs Benedict would also be a nice addition to bring out the flavors just a bit more. Other than that we enjoyed our experience!

High Cotton-everything was amazing!!! Shannon was so sweet and patient with our large group. We had a wonderful experience and food and drinks were delicious!!! Thank you Shannon and High Cotton for an amazing dinner.

Had the best time having after dinner drinks and listening to live music provided by Chris Dodson with friends at High Cotton. Thank you Chris!

Stopped in from our hotel across the street to go to the bar. Couldn’t get a reservation, the bar menu was okay. The house cocktails were great. Try the Charleston cocktail!

I have never met a ruder staff as I did last night. Not only was I rushed out but the food was terrible. Pls whoever needs a rec this isn’t the spot. I found it incredibly piss poor.

We visited last week and my husband and I shared the "Steak-tini" (a martini glass served with yummy beef and mashed potatoes and gravy!) and the shrimp roll. That, with a glass of wine each, was a perfect pairing for a light dinner. Service at the bar was prompt and efficient, even though they were quite busy.

The food was really good. My fish was slightly overdone. The staff is incredible. It probably deserves a higher rating, but I can't get past the dry fish.

The service was wonderful throughout our meal. The caesar salad was good. The duck was great but the fish special was a disappointment, it was very bland. Portion sizes were large. Chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert was a treat. We would dine here again.

My husband and I had such a fantastic experience and dinner here tonight. We were lucky to get a last minute reservation. We sampled a few things, which is our favorite part of going out!I had the she crab soup, which is a Charleston specialty. It was everything i hoped it would be. Light, even though its a cream base, sweet and delicious. We also sampled two different types of oysters from Prince Edwad Island. The New Zealand Wagyu carpaccio was delicious. Finally we rounded out the apps with a ceasar salad that had a fresh new take. See if you can guess the fresh herb. I did!For the entrees we kept it simple. Perfectly seared scallops and shrimp and grits. The food was delicious. My husband and I just kept smiling. It seems that so many restaurants aren't good anymore. So when you find one where everything felt perfect...it's almost magical. Even the staff. Professional waiters. That's so rare anymore. Our waiter Adam was great. I hope we get the chance to return before our vacation ends. Thanks for a memorable evening!

Absolutely one of the best fine dining restaurants in Charleston. Our family of five dined there for a high school graduation celebration and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special and helped us celebrate with complimentary champagne for the adults and non alcoholic fancy juice for the young adults to toast with! The food was amazing. We all enjoyed our starters and entrees. Dessert was also wonderful !!! As a local, this will now be one of our new favorites for special occasions. ❤️
