We stopped in here for breakfast on our way through Charleston, and it was a smart decision. The loaded hash browns plate was delicious! There are plenty of options for donuts too... I'll have to try one on our next visit. Great location in the heart of the historic district, with a modern and clean decor. The service was great too. We'll definitely be back!

Incredible guy, awesome establishment & service, bangin’ burgers, & delicious donuts ?I had the cereal milk donut, banana pudding doughnut (not pictured but soooo good), and a dad Burger combo which included pickles, bourbon maple bacon jam, and cheese, accompanied with ranch fries that were unreal.So happy such a yummy spot is here for us to enjoy!Love,Tastetravelz

Inside is nice, clean, and spacious. The staff was very friendly. The buffalo super crunch chicken sandwich was very tasty. I liked the menu variety. I definitely found a new spot to go to. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious variety of simple to over the top donuts! We had maple, plain glaze, cinnamon sugar, fruity pebble, chocolate and we love them all though the maple was extra extra sweet and salty! I will def return in the future for a sweet treat
First off let me just say this place was a hidden gem I happened upon while visiting MUSC. The menu seemed a little weird at first; burgers, breakfast sandwich’s, and donuts…. But boy, were they delicious! The donuts were airy and fluffy. Hands down the best I’ve had in South Carolina. The burgers were seasoned well and the ranch fries were phenomenal. I will definitely be back again the next time I’m in the area.
Stopped in right when they opened on a Tue morning after finding them near my hotel. I was a surprised at the price per doughnut but the reviews were solid so I decided to check it out. Definitely worth it....top 3 doughnuts I've had.Had trouble deciding as they all looked great but finally settled on the salted maple and pistachio (nope id never had one either) and a latte. While they fixing my coffee I wondered over and watched an artisan top some freshly made doughnuts, while I second guessed by decision to not try a cake doughnut (next time).I love everything about this place....the decor and set up, the super friendly staff, the feeling of a small business paying attention to the little details.... even the bag i carried my doughnuts home in felt like they personally stamped their logo on it.Ok, so the real details. Coffee was great. The doughnuts though....the dough texture is unique (scan the QR code by the door for their story), delicate and perfect almost like a cronut, but not so many layers. The toppings are even better though....salted Mapple was fantastic (hoping this is why Canada open their maple reserves recently).The pistachio topped one though is insanity. I was really surprised how much of the taste came through. It wasn't just glaze dusted with pistachio....it tasted infused.I certainly wish I had one in my home town...
As Alabama natives visiting Charleston we were excited to stop and see what Hero Doughnuts was all about. We were not disappointed. We got a half dozen to try and they were all good. I appreciate that they use real fruit to make their glazes. The doughnuts are not too sweet, striking that perfect balance. The salted maple and strawberry were my favorite but I don't think you can go wrong here! The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. We will definitely be back to try our their other offerings!
