Great food, atmosphere and service. BEST Charleston Bloody Mary in town.
Nice little corner restaurant in a quiet residential neighborhood in Charleston. Great atmosphere and friendly staff with great service. Definitely recommend the Sweet and smoky smash burger with fries and blueberry crisp dessert.
Dawn Patrick is absolutely amazing. Best bartender I've ran into last 10 years. Food was light, amazing and tasty. Great vibe, atmosphere, roof top and management.
BEST Nachos of ALL TIME! Stopped off late afternoon for a Saturday cocktail and some appetizers. I have been here before but was blown away by the nachos. My friend and I each ordered… Mine with Chicken and hers without. A generous size order, clearly homemade chips, topped with tomatoes corn cilantro and a very unique slightly spicy cheese sauce. The bonus: the chicken was dark meat roasted… So it didn’t dry out and had wonderful flavor on its own. I tried the house made Sangria. So very good and topped with a lemon soda that cut the usual sweetness. If you’re near the Citadel for a game or even a local looking to be a tourist in your own hometown, don’t miss this place. Great food and great staff as well.
Quirky, fun decor with a great staff and good food and beer.
Before the pandemic, this was a place with a great neighborhood atmosphere and pretty good comfort food. Now, the atmosphere is the same but that's all you can say. Given that every restaurant is packed nightly in this city, it's no surprise why this one is always empty. The most confusing part is that the staff doesn't seem at all embarrassed to deliver tomato soup that might be marinara sauce, spoiled chicken, or a salad that even McDonalds wouldn't serve. The quality would make sense if the restaurant was a tourist trap or a money laundering front, but neither of those seem to be the case. Yikes.
All was good and our server was so cool and friendly! Cool and quaint and homey too!
Salad was ok. Corn bread tasted like it was a couple days old and heated up. Don’t want to give up on this place but our meal was not good
I liked this place a lot more before the pandemic. Their menu has since changed, and for the worse. Gone are the comfort food and wholesome dinners. Now it’s your run of the mill bar food. The prices have gone way up (but the quality and portions went in the other direction). The service model has changed too. Now you order your food at the bar (which was about a 20 minute wait), but a server will come around and get drinks. It felt clunky and a tad bit chaotic. Don’t get me wrong - I used to love the atmosphere, vibe, and food. I still like the atmosphere, but the rest has gone south. The rooftop is still great, at least.
The setting is wonderful and emersive. Had a great time drinking and hanging out. The food was also super yummy.
