This is a review of the ice cream not the Distillery. The ice cream is awful. I've tried 2 flavors now and both were so gross. The first I tried was the butterscotch. I forced myself to eat about half of it and then threw the rest out. I even tried added things to it to make it better but nothing helped. I tried chocolate thinking maybe I just picked a bad flavor but this was just as terrible. Remember when you were younger and couldn't afford decent liquor so would buy cheap vodka that wasn't even branded? It was called vodka and tasted like rubbing alcohol? That's what this is. It tastes like really cheap gas station liquor. It's overwhelming. Idk what they use but it's bad. They need to use actual liquor and maybe they would be better. Like a nice bourbon chocolate might be wonderful. But as it is now I'd never try another flavor again. It's a waste of money and so gross. This is for rich young kids that don't care what alcoholic tastes like and just want to get a buzz
I cannot speak for the experience at the distillery itself. My husband and I just saw some of the "ice cream" at a local grocery store tonight and we were very excited to try it. It was hands down one of the most disgusting things I have ever had the displeasure of consuming. We made ourselves finish it because of the price. Otherwise, it would have went right to the garbage disposal. Not only was the chocolate flavor far from ideal, the aftertaste was horrendous. I love the idea for sure but I believe the flavor needs to be vastly improved and that aftertaste needs to be gone. If you see this in the grocery store, do yourself a favor and skip it.
Great Sorbet. I love the strawberry and the vanilla goes well in champagne. The Doom Flamingo Berry is my new favorite.
I like to mix peppermint , a holiday flavor , and chocolate together. The chocolate is amazing!And peach and vanilla to make peaches and cream. Also Napoleon ice cream a little of chocolate and vanilla on the bottom of the bowl and then top it off with strawberry sorbet omg with a garnish of granola.
Positively delicious!! We purchased from their office for To Go containers and experienced friendly staff. Their coffee flavor: Yum yum yum!! Got a nice small buzz. Will continue purchasing!
Wish I could do 10 Stars?There are things that were meant to be Batman Robin, Peanutbutter and Jelly. And me and this Ice Cream! Me and my fiance was on Isle of Palms for a birthday when we found this. Bottom line the best thing since Thomas Edison's light bulb. My only question is when will y'all be making Butter pecan.Need this at my wedding in Fall. Much respect. A must have! #HardScoop.
This Ice Cream is Amazing!! I have tried all the flavors and love each one. It's made by a real distillery and has real alcohol so don't be surprised that it's not your momma's ice cream! It is super rich and creamy and comes with a kick!
I tried the Vanilla and the Coffee. I found them both to be utterly disgusting. Not only do they not taste like what they are supposed to be flavored, but they even leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Coffee flavored is horrible! I will take the above suggestion and avoid the vanilla and chocolate also.
I’ve cream blows! Takes like normal ice cream mixed with Everclear. Uneatable unless you’re a full blown alcoholic. Check out Prohibition Creamery in Austin,Tx and take notes.
