Took my husband there to celebrate his birthday because I saw pictures of a yummy looking dessert served to someone celebrating their anniversary so I knew his special day would be recognized. More on that later. The wine list was good but severely overpriced. The food was excellent but expensive so one would expect excellent. First problem was we were offered a glass of bubbly to start. Well, nobody told us it was on the house to celebrate, we usually order air to start at a nice restaurant. Now you've got them not telling us bubbly was on the house and the waiter seemed to not know what a kid is so we had to tell him. They didn't admit until much later that they had no cassis so made the fake kids with chambered and served them to us without a word. When they did admit the use of chambered, they took off the price of the chambered but not the wine used to make the fake kir; the drink was not as ordered so I think all should have been taken off. Next problem is that after the main course and our having to decline dessert, they brought our check with no acknowledgement of my husband's birthday. When questioned the waiter said the bubbly was used to celebrate but he'd see if they could do something. Well the something was two strawberries with some melted chocolate, not what I would consider a celebratory dessert. All in all I was quite disappointed with my choice.

Our waiter John was excellent and made our special celebration perfect!

Jimmy was a wonderful server who took care of us from start to finish. Food was great, loved that the chef is from Pittsburgh PA. Overall experience was lovely. We had a great time. So glad we celebrated my birthday at Grill 225.

Service was great, very attentive! Food is very expensive, over salted, overcooked, disappointing. steak overcooked, whole flounder is only two filets, where I asked if it was a whole fish prior to ordering. The ceiling HVACC vents had a lot of condensation, and droplets of water kept dropping onto the table and our heads and in glasses, I would say a health issue, but the staff didn't seem concerned, they just had a long pole with a towel wrapped around it and said they would come around and dab the moisture above our table and heads, seems a health department issue. the nitrotinis were very fun and quite tasty for martini lovers. walked out very disappointed and with an empty wallet.

Food and Service: outstanding. Price-wise: VERY expensive. Ambiance: The surroundings are beautiful. During the summer months when the sun sets later in the evening, it would have been nice to have the light subdued with adjustable shades. There are no coverings on the large glass windows. The bright lighting takes away from the ambience and what could have been a romantic place to dine. It lessens what could have been an even more special evening.

Outstanding service and superb food. The wine list could use a boost. Decent wines but lots of safe choices rather than branching out.

Glutenfree bread was available and the food was adjusted accordingly.

Great service and server. Cesar salad was delicious. However, the steak was very bland.

Absolutely amazing! Our waiter was awesome! Best steak cook to perfection and the calamari was out of this world!

Loved this place! Food was so delicious. I loved the ambience of the place. Perfect for anniversary dinners. Next time I will stay at the hotel as well. Only negative I have was it took about 10-15mins for our waiter to greet us. Other than that, awesome place. We will be back.
