Have been too long since I ate a delicious sushi like this. Our waitress also made the experience amazing with her knowledge of the menu and her smile. Thank you, Luna. Next time we come to town we definitely will come back.
All FUJI’s in Charleston have the best sushi rolls. Mt. Fuji, JOJO, Double Tuna and Christmas Rolls are the bomb. Big selections of rolls , and they have Conundrum red wine..
I wouldn’t normally post this, but the last three times I’ve been to this restaurant, the bar staff have been unprofessional and rude. I’m not sure if it’s lack of training, culture, or both. The food used to be great at the Mount Pleasant location, but the food at Fuji downtown is so slow I’ve had to cancel my food once, and the two other times they’ve simply forgotten about it. For the location and price, there’s certainly better — even within a block.
We had sushi twice from Fuji Sushi Upper King while we were here on vacation for one week. The sushi is excellent. The fresh spring roll is even better than excellent. The prices are reasonable. It is a nice cozy place to eat in the restaurant or to order your food to go. I would highly recommend.
Great local sushi place with unique flavor profiles from the chef. I had the Mount Fuji and Christmas rolls. The food was incredible.
First restaurant we visited while in Charleston. Absolutely delicious and pleasantly surprised. Every plate we ordered was good and I enjoyed the Sake flight.
Food and sake were great. Desmond( I hope I’m spelling his name right, I had a little too much sake) was phenomenal. He was such a pleasure and made the experience excellent. The ambience was great and everyone there were really polite. We were seated super quickly as well. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Charleston.
My wife and I went in there to eat because we’d heard good things about their food. We walked in and the music from uptown social which is the building next-door was so loud that the walls and tables were shaking in Fuji. We could barely hear each other talk. So we left and found a quieter place. It is a shame that they have Uptown social next to them. I cannot even begin to imagine how much business they have lost because of the noise from uptown social.

The atmosphere and wait staff were great. Food was quality for the price. Our only complaint was that our table was wobbly.
