[Empanada review]Overall: Airport-quality empanadas for a premium price.The good: The empanadas were flaky and buttery, and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and quick.The not-so-good: The empanadas were almost completely empty instead of packed with filling. The flavors were dull and uninspiring, and they certainly weren't warm. I've never been more disappointed eating an emapanada than I did with Freddo. Their milkshakes and gelato look good, but I doubt we'll be back.
Great Empanadas, both sweet and savory! The staff is very friendly and helpful too. We really enjoyed going there!
Great place to stop for a quick bite while shopping on King St. Gourmet empanadas excelled only by the awesome Gelato. Only 2 seats inside and two small tables on the sidewalk, but nobody really lingers, just grab and go

I love the Empanadas here! Gelato and empanadas sounds like a strange combination but it really works. No matter what you order here you can’t really go wrong
This is the empanada I've been searching for!! Soft flaky crust but not annoyingly flaky to where it just falls apart. The chicken is deliciously moist and flavorful! A nice baked crust. So mad at myself for eating dinner before coming here. This is better than all the spots I tried In Miami recently. The Argentinian style for empanadas is definitely the way to go. I'll be back tomorrow for sure! The gelato options looked really delicious as well.
Very friendly staff. A large list of flavors and variety. Gelato is amazing !!!! The best-frozen place in Charleston.
Excellent service. DEFINITELY GELATO IS BETTER THAN ANY PREMIUM ICE CREAM.

I was honestly skeptical because I make my own homemade empanadas but these were absolutely fantastic!! Just how I remembered them as a kid. My kids loved the gelato too. So good we will be making these a stay in dinner at the hotel one night!
