I started going while this place was still called poke stop. Now it’s fishbowl on upper king. When I lived in Charleston, I frequented the restaurant weekly due to its affordable prices and incredibly fresh and delicious sushi rolls. I think I’ve tried every roll on the menu at this point. It is my all time favorite sushi restaurant to date and I make time to visit every time I am back in town. Staff still recognizes me by name and treats me with care. I have only good things to say about this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and try it out!! Very low stakes for a high reward. Jealous of everyone living in Charleston who gets to eat here more often ?. As always I will be back next time I am in town. Thanks for a great experience!!
It was just sad! The restaurant was desolate, no food in the glass display case. Walked in at 2:00 on a Sunday. Wasn’t greeted at the door. We ordered off of our phones, but when we asked for poke bowl ingredients off of the website he said no he didn’t have them. When we asked for masago he said he doesn’t have any because it’s too expensive, despite it being on the written and online menu. When we asked for simple things, like edamame, crab salad or octopus salad, which again is on both menus, he said that he didn’t want to get it, it was in the back so we could not order it. He suggested cheaper alternatives, like cucumber or carrots instead. Needless to say, we left without our food. Sorry, Lost your only 2 lunch customers!
We walked in and order take out. They told us it would be a 25mim wait which was fine with us because it was noticeable busy. It did take a bit longer but the owner went out of his way to make it right. Thank you.
High quality. Great portions. And super fresh fish/ingredients. We waited about 10 minutes for two poke bowls. It just felt like the owner put so much love in those bowls when he was preparing them for us!!! We will definitely be back.
I'll tell you one thing; you haven't experienced good affordable sushi/ poke bowls until you've tried this hole in the wall. I go to FishBowl now at least once, sometimes even twice a week. It is hard not to love this place, and the environment of college students, from tourists to locals enjoying their food in unison. It is unmatched by any other place I have been. I have gone in often enough that the staff recognizes me by name and always treats me well. The presentation of each bowl is a work of art, and it has been amazing over the last few months to see this place gain more and more traction. The portion sizes always leave me stuffed, yet I never feel gross after like some other sushi places. So do yourself a favor and pick Fish Bowl for dinner tonight. I promise you; you won't regret it.

great poke and convenient location — we went back twice during our four days in charleston. the ingredients were very high quality and prepared fresh, and the owner is generous with portions. definitely recommend!!
Sushi and bao are so so so good. Some of the best Ive had in Charleston, and at a great price. Went for the first time last week and have been back/ordered 3 more times already..
FishBowl on King Street in Charleston is a great place to go for delicious and fresh bowls in a cool atmosphere. I like the location and everything that they have available here. Everything that I have tried has been well made. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming to make sure that you get everything that you need.
Absolutely excellent. The owner of the awesome Poke Stop downtown opened this location and the quality continues to be the best poke in Charleston.
