What impressed me about this sub shop is the service.Today. You don't get service, anywhere. But, I was surprised at the commitment to all us people looking for a sandwich. The manager seemed to be training someone. And hey, it was cool. The help was friendly, seem checked in. And that, my friends was very cool.Firehouse is a national chain. It has a theme. But, it is actually very good. Using steamed meats. It works. This is a place 1st responders can be proud of.Firehouse. Pretty darn good.
It’s really dirty inside-dead bug on the floor right by register, Grime and trash everywhere. One employee clearly only cared about going home and kept pretending to clean up (wipe something for a few seconds, then go get a broom or a mop) only to be fussed at by the cashier each time that they couldn’t start cleaning til 9 bc there were still people in the restaurant (about 8 of us). Only One person making the food. Cashier sat down for a break instead of hopping in the food prep area to help. It took 25 minutes to get my one sandwich. I should have walked out when I saw how many ppl were waiting. One person got their order wrong. My order came up before the person who ordered ahead of me (which is fine for me, but I felt bad for them!). I didn’t receive my pickle and despite the fact that normally firehouse is my favorite sub, my food just didn’t taste good.I see that someone from the restaurant comes on here and addresses/apologizes on all the comments saying it isn’t the norm for things to be bad…but clearly it is the norm and they ought to spend more time training employees instead of responding to google comments.
The workers in here act like they're annoyed that you dared to walk through the door. This is the kind of place I think of when they say that automated food prep would make for a better experience.
That was a good sandwich! Whomever was on staff today did a great job. It was nice to see a nice number of staff on duty. Usually places understaff, this place did not and it made for a good experience. A low-key, chill experience. Quite enjoyable. Keep up the good work!!
I WON'T BE BACK!MY SANDWICH WAS NASTY, WITH RED OR PINK LOOKINGMEAT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE TURKEY, AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE HAD A HALF JAR OF MAYONNAISE ON IT .IT WAS TOTALLY DIGUSTING.A TOTAL WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY .
I received my order using Uber Eats moments ago. The bag was not sealed closed and the container which held the sub was not sealed either and was open. This is a safety issue and I threw the sub in the garbage. This location needs to do better and will not order from there again
The food was good. The wait was just a bit to long for my liking.
I got a Hook and Ladder medium combo. All the ham was on one side, the turkey on the other side. The pickles were yellow...no taste. And they had low gat chips. Not the best made Firehouse sub. Also one of the male workers was outside chasing a female worker to get her phone, and at one point had his arms wrapped around her so she could not move. There were only 4 other customers there, so light workload, but still it looked like he was going to harm her for a few minutes. They were ok when they got back inside.
Nice folks working. Fast correct and tasty subs. Gluten free option best of any sub shop.
somebody call 911 because my stomach was on fire and the only thing that could cure this disease was firehouse subs!!! After demolishing my child sized meatball sub, I was looking to wash it down, but there was no pickle! It is OK though, because the person who sits next to me at work is a former manager of another location. Looking forward to next review!
