We had a great experience. Our food was great and so was our server. The only thing I would change is how salty the chips were. They were good but just had way too much salt on them. Overall we'd come back and recommend if you're in the mood for Tex-Mex.
Extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Good expensive and average quality for the money. Shocked that the 20% gratuity was included in the price and then they gave a cheque with additional gratuity option.
my friends and i come here often as a meet up spot because the atmosphere is really amazing. the food is great, to be expected, but the service is just really up there and pulls it all together. whenever we go we usually see the same hostess named shy and it’s gotten to the point where she seems to know our favorite table and does her best to seat us where we like when she can. hostesses are so underrated in the restaurant industry, and she’s such a great example of this. she’s just never seemed to have a single bad day in all the time we’ve been coming here. all of the servers we’ve gotten have been amazing as well and so accommodating to the various food sensitivities of the group. overall just an amazing restaurant experience and the people truly do make it what it is.
Corey was the best bartender. The nicest most attentive and hilarious guy. Kellan convinced me to go on the the bull and was so sweet. Made our experience so enjoyable! Best guys ever
Allie was nothing short of stellar. She was nice, energetic, and helped me scour the menu to figure out what I would like to order most! The food was great and timely. And the atmosphere was comforting. It transported me back to when I was having dinner with my parents as a young kid.Will recommend to anybody coming through the area!
Nice place for casual food and drinks with friends. Food is good. Drinks are good. The bartender was rude and dismissive when asked a question. Definitely recommend avoiding him as that seemed to be his overall personality, at least for that night. Riding the mechanical bull was a lot of fun and harder than it looks. Both our waitress and the guy running the bull were very friendly and provided good service despite their coworker's less than stellar personality. Only street parking is available.
Hot afternoon in Charleston and I was in the mood for a cold beer and some Tex-Mex so I called in. Ordered the steak burrito. Meat was largely inedible as it was mostly fat, left most of the meal on my plate yet no one asked me if it was OK or not, strange. At $18 I expected a little better plus almost $8 for a bottle of Corona, it was an expensive mistake.
The food was delicious; tacos like we’ve never tasted! Our server, Grace, was wonderfully friendly and always looking in on us! Such a wonderful experience!!!!
Arrived about 12:30 pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was about 1/2 full but no one was sitting at my favorite restaurant location "the bar". The bar was very clean and the chairs all aligned. Immediately the server/bar tender took my drink and food order of a chicken burrito bowl. The food was served quickly and while it was hot. The presentation was nice, the food was delicious and the price was reasonable for the tourist area. The server stopped back several times to check on me and to see if I required a refill. My check with a beverage, food, taxes and tip totaled around $24. I enjoyed my experience and I recommend.
It’s always fun to come to this bar. I’ve been coming since 2019 and I always have a good time talking with Corey, Nolan and Carrie. These guys are amazing and make this place great. I totally recommend the ribeye taco texican style. It’s really good!!!,?
