I gave this alot of consideration before writing this review.  I try to support local small business as much as possible but there come a time where local small business don't appreciate your support.  This was obvious on Saturday when my wife and I had breakfast here.We arrived about 1030 and sat at the counter because all the tables were full and they had a wait. We had our drinks and placed our order by the time on the ticket was 1035. Granted it would be a few minutes before we received our food but as I watched the staff at the window I started to notice that orders that were 3rd party (door dash, grub hub ect) were being pushed to the front of the line and very little food was being server to the customers actually sitting in the restaurant.  At the 20 minute make I asked for management and asked why it has taken 20 minutes to cook two eggs and why am I watching 3rd party and to go being pushed out before in house orders.  I was told that those orders or done in the order they came in and not given priority. It funny because as we were talking the staff at the window pulled a few more 3rd party orders ahead and were packing them up as we still waited.   I was told that she would expedite out order which still took 10 more minutes and when it was served it looked like they just threw it on the plate. It's obvious that the Owner/Management has no clue on the stress and complaints that pushing orders out for 3rd party service has on the staff. Most servers work for tips and tips are based on service. So when service is slow all the free coffee refill don't mean anything when your waiting 30 to 35 minutes for a dish that requires 3-5 minutes to prepare. Warming up sausage, bacon, and gravy and cooking 2 eggs in no way takes that long even with a full restaurant.  So beware, if your looking for a fast breakfast this isn't the place. Remember it isn't the servers fault it. Poor management is what it equates to.So will I go back, probably because my server was excellent and I felt sorry for what they have to go thru.  Maybe the owners need to go work at a waffle house and see how a small restaurant actually runs.  Or maybe dedicate only one grill to 3rd party and to go so the rest of the kitchen staff can send out food to your diners sitting in your restaurant. By turning tables, by serving people sitting in you restaurant get the servers more tables which equates to making more money.  This will also make the customer happy because they are receiving excellent service from you servers working hard at serving people, not working hard at fielding complaints.

I have eaten at eggs up grill West of the Ashley on several occasions. They are always so polite, professional and provide excellent service. I am familiar with many of the smiling faces at the grill, but I happen to know Beverly, Merline and Tina a little bit better. These ladies and the rest of the staff are remarkable and do a wonderful job. The food is also very good.Frank P.

Great place to go and enjoy a good breakfast. As soon as I worked in someone came to me with a pretty smile and welcome me in, have me seated with a menu. I ordered a scrambled eggs topped with strawberries and scrambled eggs. I love the atmosphere and the food is delicious. I will come back and refer friends and families. To the team thanks! Thanks to the managements!!

I went in playing my typical skeptic self, it was totally turned around by the friendly attitude of the staff, amazing price for quality of the meal, and surprisingly astounded at the phenomenal taste that the cooks put into this meal. totally recommend this place!

We are from the Augusta, Ga area. Our wedding rehearsal had to be scheduled early in the day due to our venue having a wedding booked that evening. So instead of doing a rehearsal dinner, I decided on a rehearsal brunch. I started my research and called around to a few places. Mr. Arnold was one of the first to return my phone call. From the very first time we spoke, he gave nothing but good service. I fell in love with their outdoor seating area. With being unsure of the covid wave, we were shooting for outdoors.Days leading up to the date, Mr. Arnold suggested that we change it to indoors because winds had been high. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. We sat down to dine on the very first day we arrived to Charleston, before the staff even knew that we were the bride/groom of the big party that they would be hosting the next day. Great customer service even then. We visit Charleston often. My husband’s favorite food is breakfast food, so I know that Eggs Up Grill is now one of “Our Spots”. Thank you so much, Mr. Arnold and Staff of the Eggs Up Grill, West Ashley, SC.

We had no idea passing through where we were going to eat and happened upon this place. The food was out quickly and was delicious. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was so sweet with our daughter. She even let my daughter run our card upon checkout. It was a pleasant family experience for us and we plan to go to the one near us in the future. Thanks for a great brunch.

Muffin & Eggs! Grilled blueberry muffin is amazing ? Also the Eggs Benedict was fabulous!! Service was great, a big shout to Morgan. She gave excellent service and gave us advice on other places to visit in Charleston.

If you are in Charleston, you will have to try this place for breakfast. One of the best corn beef hashes I've had.

Although there was a longer wait (to be expected on a Sunday) for the food to come out, our server Whitney was very sweet and kept us up to date on our. And the food arrived and the strawberry cheesecakes were so amazing. Bacon and eggs cooked perfectly

Waitress didn't bother to check on us after waiting for over 25 minutes for our simple breakfast orders. I found a hair on my plate. My order called for 3 eggs yet portion was clearly one egg. My wife's waffle was cold. Grits BLAND.
