Came in to eat, order was made wrong. The manager Tuesday started arguing with me in front of the whole place. Another manager had to get involved. This little girl has no business managing your place. The way she was arguing and yelling is a shame, I got my money refunded due to her attitude and my company will not order from here again until she is gone. I would like the owner or GM to call me about this.
excellent variety and high quality foods. i was passing thru and en route to furhose subz but missed my turn and saw east bay and decided to try them. far superior eatery. i got the fajita chik wrap with a bowl of chili, passengers got the charleston philly with soup. absolutley delicious. comfortable atmosphere and prompt service. try them out.
Ordered a patty melt for carry out last night. Sandwich was two pieces of bread, half of a burger, no cheese and literally one onion slice! Great disappointment as I have had decent food in the past. If it wasn’t late and nearing closing time I would have made the trek back to the shop.
This place really doesn't disappoint. This is the only location I've ever been to, so I can't speak for the others, but I love the sandwiches here. The Dixie Darling is definitely my favorite, but I've never had a bad one.One thing to note is that the menu doesn't specify which sandwiches are normally served cold and which are normally served hot. But you don't have to guess, because they will serve any sandwich either way if you just ask! Which I loved because I dislike cold deli sandwiches immensely.
Food is good, salad bar excellent and people are so nice
Normally I have a great experience from Eastbay deli, but this morning I received the worse attitude from the manager Christina if that’s her name. I order online with them at least twice a week and come in to pickup as I normally do and grab my bag of the counter, no one has ever said to me that I couldn’t come in and take the bag off the counter without an employee checking. Today Mrs Christina rolled her eyes and mumbled some dudes things about me. I’m always polite but today she really made me upset. I will however continue ordering from them because I love the food. Please when addressing things such as this Christina address it properly like a manager should. Thanks
Called in an order, just two things, picked them up and got home just to realize they both were wrong. Called back and got put on with the manager who was no help at all, no offerings of replacements no offerings of comps just kept coming up with excuses as to how we phrased our order wrong. I didn’t realize chicken pita was that hard to understand. Even if it was, they could’ve asked for me to restate what i said. Instead I got two wrong orders, cold deli meat, and some cold cheese. I liked this place as a lunch option but won’t be coming back here anymore. :/
My son wanted to go here for his birthday for some reason. Ok no prob. We went and my husband and I got the cheese steak sandwich and fries....The Good: Staff was friendly, fountain drinks was awesomly perfect my husband kept saying it was the best fountain drink he has had in a very long time! Fries were seasoned and tasty although a little dry tasting. It tasted like they were made using an airfryer or oven cant taste any oils.The Not so great: a little pricey for what you get, McAlister's portion sizes are a lot bigger than this place (last i checked)My son enjoyed his burger although he would enjoyed a cheaper burger just as much from some place else, nothing special.The Really bad: the cheese steak i got and the one my husband got was extremely dry there is no kind of condiments on it other than half melted cheese... Usually cheesesteak has some greese esp with fried onions and peppers you'd think it would have some grease to help make it tasty and good. This places food is sooooo dry...we ate half of our sandwiches there and took the other half home to recook it with some actual vegetable oil to make it better!Advice: Please stop making everything so damn healthy if i wanted healthy i wouldn't of ordered a cheesesteak for petes sake! (Cheesesteak should not be made like this i expect greese to be dripping from my mouth)
Always seems to be a long lunch line so expect to wait if going around noon. Staff friendly and competent. They were over the top on germ prevention. Even have a server load your salad buffet for you
Ordered our delivery an hour and a half ago and it's still not here. When my bf called to check on it he was told "we only have one delivery driver tonight, it will be there sometime soon". That was 15 minutes ago and we still don't have food (we live 10 minutes or less away). I'm sure when/if it gets here it will be cold. If you cannot staff properly maybe consider cutting off online orders when your driver becomes overwhelmed? The customers should not have to pay for this kind of inconvenience
