Really good food. Great service. Nice respite from the rain. We had a variety of sandwiches, wraps, soups, and cakes - all were delicious.

Food, service and atmosphere were all Excellent! Party of 8 - all of us loved it! Wish it was in Denver so we could be frequent visitors.

This was out first time at East Bay Deli since before the pandemic. The food is still delicious, as were the corned beef sandwiches and French fries, that my wife and I ordered. Although the prices are now on the high side, I suppose that this had to be expected in light of the current economical situation,

Had a pastrami and corned beef sandwich. Lots of meat and well prepared. It was a late afternoon stop so they were slow so it was pretty quick.

We needed somewhere quick for lunch between our walking tour and our boat tour. The walking tour guide recommended this place. I don't love sandwiches but this was quick and easy. My husband and I were really impressed with our lunches. I'm gluten free and the restaurant didn't advertise gluten free options but I asked and they said they have gluten free bread. I had a chicken and cranberry sandwich. My husband had the Dixie darling. We both really enjoyed our meals. There is a fresh looking salad bar that I initially missed seeing or I may have ordered that instead, but I really enjoyed my sandwich. I would definitely visit here again. We appreciated having a quick and affordable lunch option prior to our boat tour.

I had high hopes for such a large deli. But I ordered a baked potato, which is many places on their menu and it was dry and microwaved. My brother-in-law ordered a hotdog, the hot dog bun was so dry it fell apart when he took his first bite. My daughter ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich, again dry bread. Then my husband had a wrap and he said it was good. Additionally, the only vegetarian thing on the menu is cold sandwich vegetables (lettuce, sprouts, tomato, etc….). How about a roasted vegetable sandwich? Vegetarian‘s like lots of different things besides lettuce. I wouldn’t go back.

This location is horrible. Just recently moved and the Columbia location is where I went to with a friend for the first time so I couldn't wait to take my husband here. It was an awful experience which ended with a staff member sweeping all the dirt, old food, and dust right to where we were sitting to where it was going in our faces while we were trying to eat. Manager wasn't helpful at all. Will never return to this location, save yourself time and go to a better one. Absolutely disgusting.

We stopped by for lunch after visiting the Charleston Museum, very convenient. We had a Reuben and a French Dip (although I don't think it was called French Dip on the menu). Both were very good, meat very tender.

East Bay Deli - Downtown on East Bay Street in Charleston is a great place to go for delicious and well prepared sandwiches, salads, and much more. They have been consistent in their quality throughout the years and I have enjoyed my order each time.

My friend I was with and may others in the restruant finished their food before I was even served. Horrible experience and I will never be back almost made the food taste bad. You shouldn't have to wait over an hour for a sandwich.
