Service was good. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The burger was great & the cup of cheese that comes with it makes it EVEN BETTER. The fruity pebble french toast -the breading is a blueberry bread dipped in fruity pebble batter. The taste to me was not too great but it wasn't too bad. My only issue is how does this entire meal cost $37.75... We ordered a patty melt + add bacon (11.50), fruity pebble french toast(11.00), & two bottled drinks!!! If u take off taxes that's still over $10 for two bottled drinks less than 20 oz - outrageous. Also like everywhere else in Charleston parking is limited, be sure to read parking signs etc.

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Came on a Saturday morning around 11 am. The place doesn’t take reservations or call-aheads but the wait wasn’t long. You order at the counter and then your food gets added to the queue. You find your own seating but there a good bit of places to sit. Room inside, tables outside, and further tables behind the wall hedge next door.Food comes fast, in about 30 minutes. The music they play is nice, some not too loud indie music.Food itself is delicious. Fruity pebble pancakes are never a miss. Always delicious.Recommend this place for breakfast. 10/10.

So yummy! Staff was friendly and helped with menu selections. We both had some of the potato hash (lots of options and available additions) and split a fruity pebble pancake. You must try the garlic herb sourdough toast!

Overall: Daps is definitely a spot that I'll be putting in my rotations from now on!The good: The highlight is the creative and delicious food. My wife and I split the poutine and cinnamon toast crunch sticky bun, which were both fantastic in their own way. The poutine was loaded with gravy, cheese curds, and cheese sauce, and came with divine garlic bread. The sticky bun was sweet, indulgent, not-too-sticky, and was a nice compliment to the savory poutine. Plus the portion sizes are hefty; the two dishes were more than enough for both of us. Free coffee refills, and the staff was friendly. Prices are right for the portion sizes. The not-so-good: Long, long wait time, but they did let us know ahead of time while in line. Plus, we came at peak brunch hour on a Sunday. Gets very busy with limited seating.Food/drink: 9/10Atmosphere: 9/10Service: 9/10

The wait for a seat was kinda long and to get our food took a while but it tasted great and was large portions even had leftovers for the next day the service was nice and price was good would recommend to others. Whent back and tried the burger but this time without the egg an it was amazing and also tried the pancakes with footy pebbles super fire soft sweet and fresh love this place

Wow.Great food, great service, excellent coffee. The Fruity Pebble Pancakes were the hit with our family. True pan-CAKES. Huge, fluffy and tender. All the breakfast items were excellent. Service is top notch, the take out packaging sturdy and well designed and the staff is terrific.Parking can be a challenge as it always seems to be busy (we’ve been three times in one week). It’s on a one way street so be prepared to be patient and careful while looking for a place to park.

Great coffee and super yum food! They also have outdoor seating with heaters so you won’t get cold. Highly recommend the hash breakfasts!

Well, I wasn't going to write a review but I should. I'll be nice. This is a nice looking little place in a neighborhood. Don't blink or you'll miss it. Parking could be an issue so take the first thing you see close. We lucked out. The restaurant has two areas outside for seating. First come first served. We took a seat outside. They do allow dogs to sit outside with owners. That was nice. I wished we brought ours but left her at the hotel. Bummer. A waiter greeted us upon arrival and told us about the open seating. He also told us about coming inside to order and then they would bring the food out and find us. Strange. After a wait for a menu, I went inside to get one. They didn't have any. They have me a card with some QR codes. That's fine. I used my camera and nothing. (I am proficient with my phone thank you. ) I could not get the site to load. My wife tried and she got in. Dang. Oh well. I pulled up the web site. Strange food options. I was hoping for some good Low Country Grits. They don't have that. Coffee? Too fancy. 2oz of crema? Really? I just wanted a vanilla Latte. Not Starbucks fufu coffee. I just wanted a simple breakfast. Eggs, hash, potatoes. Not! Cornbeef hash, many ways. (Vegi, potato, etc hash), They had many different hash pancake. Flat and big. Again that's OK but I would have had to get that as a full meal plus whatever else I wanted as a full meal also. Like I said, I'll be nice but I want impressed. Sandwiches liked OK but I didn't want that. The prices were a little too much for everything. So we left. My recommendation is, look at the menu before coming here. Get an idea of what you want, then come prepared to order. Breakfast sangawich is probably a good bet. Sorry folks. Too many better options for me.

Lovely spot and fabulous welcoming service. Food was ready quickly and delicious. We had Patty Melt, Regular Hash, Chickpea sandwich. All very tasty and good sized portions.Coffee was great too and place was spaced out well and clean. Great vibe!

Very good food and coffee. The menu was hard to figure out but the spinach and mushroom hash + egg was fantastic. Oversized English muffin, bacon, egg and cheese sauce is top quality. 2 leagues above McD. Free refills on top notch drip coffee, puts the big chains to shame
