We ordered arancini appetizers for the table, split a Greek salad and a Margherita pizza. All the dishes were excellent. The ingredients were fresh and great food quality. Our server was the best. Highly recommend.
My best friend and I went there two nights ago after a long day of work. We came in on the later side, so the host just told us to sit in one of the empty booths. Our waiter was super nice and she took our entire order of a custom pizza without writing it down and got it fully correct, which impressed me a lot. The pizza was floppy like we wanted, and it tasted so good. Their sweet iced tea was also absolutely amazing and very smooth.Overall I give it five stars for great service and a great place to go after a long day. The parking lot can get a bit crowded and people double park, so if you are going to Crust at busy time, make sure not to lock someone else in their space.
Recommendation from the Charleston Distilling Company and it was indeed great. They have customization ability for any pizza so get it your way. The crust was nicely blistered and held up great. The wine and local beer were all priced outstanding. I recommend the cantina zaccagnini or the il bastardo for red wine. They will complement the red sauce perfectly.
I had high hopes for this place, but my experience was far from satisfactory. We were seated immediately, but then no one came to our table for at least 10 minutes. Several people came by, but none of them acknowledged that we were there and hadn’t been served. Our waitress finally came to take our drink orders, so we ordered pizza then too. Thank goodness we did because we didn’t see her again until the end of our meal when we asked for the check. Someone else delivered our pizza and immediately turned and walked away without asking if we needed anything else like plates, silverware, or napkins. We ended up having to get these things ourselves from a cart inside because no one else ever came to check on us. The pizza itself was alright. We had the Bianca and the Pepperoni, Sausage, and Bacon. The Bianca was good, but the sausage on the other pizza lacked flavor and was disappointing. I will not be back due to the poor service, nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
Great service, limited seating. Pizza done perfectly and a nice charred crust. Order the margherita for a wonderful cheese pizza experience. Also had well priced beers and wines available
Great, casual place for Italian food. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. We had the Antipasto and Korean BBQ wings. The wings were sooo good. Then we all had wood fired pizzas and we all liked our pizza except for one who said his was bland. Otherwise, great food. The restaurant itself is pretty small and parking can be an issue. There is a gravel parking on the side of the complex so save yourself some time circling the parking lot and head there 1st.
This place used to be at the top of my list but it has fallen dramatically. When it first opened, the owner listened intently to my comments and told me about wanting to be the best pizza I'd ever tasted. What we got on Saturday night was a far cry from that. The pizzas we got were both bland and undercooked. I don't know if the lack of dough flavor was from too cold an oven or not enough time, but it neither had taste or spring. The mozarella was just partially melted lumps.The meatballs were bland and gummy. Two stars were the result of the arancini, which is good as it has always been. Don't know if there's a new owner or the original one has just checked out, but I'm sad to have lost one of the few places to get a decent pie on this town.
Delightful❤️Enjoyed the outdoor seating option, the prompt fun service and the food❤️. We are on vacation here;we've already been here twice. We had the cheese pizza and the pepperoni, sausage,bacon pizza. Light crunchy crust, savory drizzles of olive oil ?. Also enjoyed the wine (although a bit on the $$$ side given the glass pour). Parking overflow down further in front of laundry mat or go off hours but DO go.?
Crust always keeps a high and consistent standard for their products and service. Amber is amazing!!! We love her. I was so proud to see how they value the public and their staff by moving to take-out only. It shows how they want to honor their standards and if they know they are unstaffed due to whatever reasons, they still want to keep their product and service up to par!! Thank you. We will get to go any time!!!
This was delicious pizza! The crust is thin, but not dry and cracker-like. Still had texture. Loved the interesting toppings. We shared a kale burrata salad which I'm still dreaming about days later. Warning it is dark, even in the middle of the day. This is a pro for me because I love that atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!
